Self-Hatred for Liking Pregnant Women

Some people don't get one mom to begin with. For a lot of people, their "mom" is just a woman who pushed them out of her vagina and then proceeded to antagonize them for years and years. "Family" does not create worthy relationships by default, and I don't think it's healthy to go with the narrative that you only get one family and should therefore put in extra effort to smooth things out with those people at great personal cost. Better to cobble together your own family out of good friends than to try to fix a shitty one with duct tape and bubble gum. (And for reference, I'm good with my family, so this isn't some bitter rant. I've just seen stuff, as we all have.)

I agree with you....like respect is earned by EVERYONE....nobody gets it by default.....

They do have their good traits but their neuroticism has ruled my life for years and has caused me a great deal of pain and unhappiness.

Besides, this move would make me close to a certain special someone I now have who wants to move to the area also

I konda know how you feel about hating yourself. Ive told only like one person ive dated and very few others just because its kinda an awkward situation. The way i try to look at it is everyone has a thing. Mine doesnt hurt me or hurt others so its not bad. Just hope i find soneone who shares how i feel

Both of y’all are right. @Akhenaten and @"PhoenixEdgeworth1993" . I just try to repair what’s happened because I deemed it worth the struggle. But yeah, I can understand how others can feel different. If you think up a shitty scenario, it’s probably happened. And when I announced my atheism to my family and my parents disowned me, turning to friends and other parts of my family that respected me substantially helped my outlook on life. Friends are indeed made and not assigned.

My family and friends make fun of me whenever they can for it. Once upon a time I did seek counseling for it but I realized I dont care. Nothing wrong with liking pregnant women and Im very sure if and when I get married if and when my wife gets pregnant if and when shes horny shell be one happy lady to see that I love it just as much as she does if not more.

In fact, some friends have told me its pretty cool. Some laughed at me but some said its a cool fetish to have. One said she hopes her husband feels the same when she gets pregnant.

The problem is its really easy to get turned on. I cant count how many times Ive seen a huge preggo and my mind went right to the gutter. One time I saw one lady waddling across the street. Id be lying if I didnt admit that I stared. She must have seen me looking at her and knew what I wanted because she looked right at me and winked. To this day I wonder what wouldve happened if I stopped what I was doing and ran over to her. That also brings up a concern some other friends have mentioned. Im a fairly outgoing person and I used to approach pregnant ladies all the time. Many of them loved the attention but my friends were worried for me. One friend told me that if I kept messing around one of them would grab me, drag me to a room somewhere and have sex with me. That never happened but I got a girlfriend shortly after that which ended all of that.

Despite it being a pain sometimes Ive grown to accept it as part of who I am. Some friends laugh at me and it hurts but thats who I am and theres no changing it. I dont think Id want to anyway.

Well I have several times, especially from some of my family members but when I got older, I was able to overcome that and not listen to other's opinion. It's my fetish and admiration and I keep it to myself. It's the way this society has come.

I blame Feminism, they don't want women having babies, they want them to be slaves to a corporation......and the corporations they work for want to drive down the price of labor by having them in the workforce. Ever wonder why they are obsessed with abortion and not paid maternity leave?
