Now pray tell what actual difference there is in thinking you're the wrong sex, species, or even a fictional character when it is 100% PROVABLE as wrong? Further why would going along with the lie (ultimately it is, even if the person believes it with the most genuine of sincerity) be in ANY way good for anyone or anything?

I can understand how it's frustrating seeing all this really drastic change, but you have to try and look at it with an open mind set. Choosing to just say it's wrong and an illness, makes you look uneducated and unwilling to accept change. Transphobia isn't an opinion, it's prejudice. Nope.  I'm sorry, you can't just redefine gender like that.  Sex or gender dynamics took millions of years of evolution to refine and is the backbone of human interaction.  You can add to it for the existence of transpeople, sure.  A transwoman or transman who have sufficiently transitioned can be considered members of their preferred gender(Male or Female).  And yes, the science of this matters.  Or are you saying science doesn't matter if it doesn't align with your beliefs?  Aren't you kinda doing the same thing anti-vaxxers do?  I don't mean to be rude but, this kind of thing irks me. 

Also, consider the implications of what you're proposing.  If there is no longer a clear distinction between men and women or what constitutes a "trans" individual, that leaves a lot of room for misuse or worse abuse.

I'm gonna put my mother frickin foot down once and for all with throwing my two cents. This thread in general has become toxic due to us going down a political route than a peaceful open route where we can hear and discuss what each person has to say. I am not going to judge what the people in this "My Pregnant Husband." If they want to get recognition for being the first people to give birth while being a man then I am happy for them. Cause who am I to judge who they are and what they do? If they also seek approval from a higher entity than what they know, good for them cause I will not judge them. I do agree with @knicks, on their point of view and how they approached this topic and how we should keep an open mind for this topic. I also agree that we should help them come into the light and let us see them for who they are and not dirt beneath us. I do not agree with a certain someone who will remain nameless on how they are willing to treat these kinds of people as dirt. We have to keep an open mind, hear what they have to say and how we should treat them like they would treat us. Something like this in the form of transgender is not a mental illness but a new way of like. I graduated high school with a transgender kid who is a female and I did not look down upon them while in public. Whatever thoughts I had about that person, I chose to keep them to myself and respected them for who they are. If you were to ask me would I watch this show I would tell you I don't know cause I would have no clue if my TV provider has that channel. I will not look down on them for who they are and for them wanting to live a normal life. Science in this case matters and how we can grow as a community and help one another. We must extend the olive branch of peace than the ax of war. Cause without a peaceful conversation how can we understand the other person.

If anyone on this thread disagrees with me then I'm sorry, you have a bad sense of morals, judgement and letting other people the way they want to live.

Science does matter I suppose, I was more or less saying that physical appearance doesn't 100% determine anything anymore. You put in a better way than I could in a sense.
