That's a pretty narrow view. Children are not the point of pregnancy if you don't want children. There's a lot more going on during a pregnancy -- the whole thing doesn't revolve entirely around the end result. Ever heard "it's about the journey, not the destination?"

Narrow does not mean wrong though. Yes there is alot going on BUT pregnancy wouldn't exist if not to produce children.

Sounds an awful lot like "sex is only meant for procreation" -- remember that line? If people enjoy sex for its own sake, then sex has a purpose other than children. If people enjoy pregnancy for its own sake, then pregnancy has a purpose other than children. Pretty straight-forward. Smile
Well look guys, it's both lol. Sex is NOT something to be taken lightly there are consequences.....FYI I'm a virgin.....but not for much longer....giggity

Whats wrong with getting pregnant & doing something else with the kids afterwards? Kids are like keys: if you break, injure or lose one, you can get another one. It won't be exactly the same but it will be a good one.
Heres whats funny though: the women cant keep their legs closed for a full year & then they want to do something with their life.. yeah right.

For some reason women think they need to keep every kid they get pregnant with, & they don't see that they could end up poor as a result. They can end up poor by having so many kids they quit their job & rely on their mans job (& his job goes from "I want to" to "I have no choice." Most of the people that have kids cant afford them (unless your famous). Kids cost 230K for 18 years (more for special needs kids). Plus unplanned pregnancies account for 75% of every states & countries population.

I think women with lots of kids quit their BC on purpose so they enjoy pregnancy again. Theres a woman that got pregnant twice for the joy of it. She hates the kids but is scared to tell the husband because if he does find out he will kick her out & take the kids, her family finds out & she becomes an outcast. It was a big article not long ago. Idk what ever happened to the woman

I know it's fun to shit on @Thechickenlawyer but he does sprinkle some sense into his posts. He's not entirely wrong. I know a woman who's pregnant right now and has had 4 kids already, but she gave the first 3 away. Like literally gave them away. I think she might have even tried to make some money off one of them, which is pretty damn illegal and fucked up. No one in my social circle understands what the hell she's doing. But we might.......

Bringing another human being into this world just to satisfy a fetish is not really a good look.

17. Date a woman who loves being pregnant, but gives the kid away.

I sense a note of disapproval for mothers who give their babies away. That used to be the common practice years ago when girls got pregnant in high school. You couldn't support it, so you gave it up for adoption. That's what surrogacy is all about. There would be no surrogates if women didn't enjoy being pregnant. Finally, most states have "safe haven" laws such that a woman walk into, say, a fire station, hand off her baby, and walk out. No questions asked. It is dangerous to force a woman who is addicted, mentally ill, violent, or just plain irresponsible to raise a kid. My friend has a daughter like that. She just had her second kid, kept them both, and insists on living with her parents. She is eating their retirement. Lord knows there are lots of couples looking to adopt.

I think the issue is that these kids often end up in "the system," which is apparently pretty damn awful for them. I'm 100% ignorant on this so that's all I can say there.

If it weren't for that... hell, I'd agree with you. If someone wants it, let them have it. Guess you have to make sure they don't want it for nefarious purposes, though...

Foster kids are in "the system" while their parent(s) unable or unavailable to do their job. Think prison, rehab, extended illness... Foster kids are sometimes adopted, but it gets harder as they grow older. It is easy to adopt out newborns. A girl/woman who can is pregnant and doesn't want to raise the baby she gets in touch with an agency. The agency will locate qualified parents and the baby will go to them straight from the hospital. Nefarious purposes? That's what agencies are for, to investigate prospective parents. They have long waiting lists. To adopt a child takes years. To be adopted as a newborn? The blink of an eye.

Yeah, if you bother to go through an agency. If you hand a baby over at a gas station, who knows?

It is possible to be the giver or receiver of a baby under those circumstances, but it is illegal as hell! The safe haven drop-off sites are usually public or semi-public agencies like police and fire station or hospitals.
