Any guesses how long before we can stop wearing g masks? (In U.S. anyway)

Within the next few months. Most places don't even require masks indoors anymore (at least here in PA)

In California, June 15th is the date when all Covid 19 regulations are set to expire. Moving forward each county and individual business will decide how it wants to deal with the mask requirement. I imagine some places will still uphold mask-wearing while others will not. I don't think we will get to a complete mask free society any time soon.

Half of the population never wore a mask to begin with. But according to my state, as soon as you've past 2 weeks of your second shot (or 2 weeks of the single J&J variant) you can stop wearing a mask.

Hopefully people will start wearing masks when they're sick from now on.

Just like in East Asian countries like China, Japan, South Korea, Vietnam and so on. A strong belief of courtesy for not spreading the flu, esp. the region is known for potential influenza and esp. coronavirus outbreaks and pandemics (SARS and MERS, the 1968 Hong Kong and 2009 Swine flus either originated or linked to the same country, China). A nation with 1.5 billion people had 100,000 cases of COVID-19, which is questionable said experts who have scientific knowledge on the high rate of spread of COVID-19, but the habit of wearing masks, esp. in cities with high rates of air pollution could be a huge factor.

In Ohio, all covid mandates have expired. Private businesses can still choose to enforce them if they do wish.

Definitely not in America, since half of the population are selfish assholes who did nothing but cause more damage than good during the whole pandemic.
