Definitely not in America, since half of the population are selfish assholes who did nothing but cause more damage than good during the whole pandemic.
yep! which is why i think we're truly not out of this yet. be it another wave or it stagnates

Masks are back after the Delta variant of SARS-CoV-2 spread across the mainly unvaccinated portion of the US population, regardless of one's vaccinated status. Most places don't require them for customers, some companies require them for employees like Kroger, for example. They should have done that in all their grocery stores last year in primetime of COVID-19, esp. I recalled 4 Kroger workers died in Detroit in Mar. 2020, not having to rely on city, county and state officials passing mandatory or universal mask mandates temporarily (360 days in CA, Jun 19 2020-Jun 15 2021).

So it's back to square one for the masks, whether you're vaccinated or not. Also expect grocery stores to be out of a lot of things until next year at the earliest.

It's a combination of manufactors exhausting their resources and truck drivers/warehouse/retail workers getting burned out and quitting in droves. And everyone from Walmart to Costco to your local grocery store are suffering because nobody wants to work for the crappy pay that they're offering. I legit quit my job as a store manager three weeks ago to go work entry level at a computer company.

Sad part is that I'm at the bottom of the totem pole and I'm making more money, I'm happier, and I'm less stressed out than I was when I was in charge of an entire store.

A load of people are striking for crap conditions and another load for the mandates. Buy a 50 pound bag of rice while you can.

It's a sad statement about our world, yes - but I'm happy for you.
