As cams have become higher quality and more prevalent, so much of the content that's available seems to be cam recordings.

Sometimes I'll latch on to a lady, download like six hours of cam content, and then it just sits there because it's kind of impenetrable to get to the good parts. So much down time, brief moments of awesome. 

Do people edit these down themselves? Just put one on in the background for an hour? I feel like I'm doing it wrong.

I used to edit them down for my own personal collection, but decided to just screen record when the model is camming since 90% of the footage prior would be worthless and take up time and space. Plus with the screen recording, I can pause and resume when I want so I'll end up with little to no editing afterwards.

Honestly I usually just make the videos myself rather than looking for new content from someone else' good time. I spent around $800 in the past 9 days (>.<) auditioning ladies in Chaturbate. Most would give me nearly 2 hours of attention and pvt time. On average though, they get 45 min to an hour. Many of them willingly give me their whatsapp, instagram or what ever social media because I can last while in the first place. Unfortunately, most of them also only want money sent directly to them..... and I have a weakness for a damsel in distress. Don't get me wrong, I have lots of content from others in my collection. But my favorites are many times my personal recordings.... or old school type porn where there is a kind of story involved.

There are plenty of editors out there one can download for free to cut/crop videos uploaded by others to keep them short enough for your personal desires.

Mostly, I don't favor cam recordings. The girl sits there for an hour more or less and does nothing much. I much prefer 10-15 minute recordings where the girl knows she has to put on a show to be successful.

I don't enjoy them at all. I either do a private where I can control the length and what happens or tip until she cums in public chat. Although the latter rarely happens since I'm not huge into the freeloaders enjoying the girl because of my tips.

Figure out how to watch on 2x-3x speed on your favorite video player. Create 6x6 thumbnails for each cam recording and decide what you want to keep (or just skip around the video). Trim parts where there's no action if you're willing to put in more work.

Back when I shared cam collections, I would edit them down to the better parts then stitch them together. I still do it from time to time, but it's to save space on my hard drive. I don't do it much anymore though because it feels like such a chore when I can be doing something more productive or fun. It's just not worth it sinking so much time into editing porn like that. Now, if someone payed me to do it thats another story haha.
