I have 2 people in mind. They go from/to:

30B/34D
44DDD/48FFF

The first one, yes. Second one, kinda doubt it.

Why do you doubt it? In both cases it's: 2 bands and 2 cup, sizes.

I would say 48FFF is a massive amount of growth. Too much for a single pregnancy. That kind of growth happens slowly over time especially in women with Macromastia.

@LTKNT101 am I wrong that DDD to FFF is 2 cup sizes?

I don’t understand fully how breast cup sizes work but assuming there is an EEE cup size then going from DDD to FFF is a 2 cup size increase.

That was my logic saying that. FTR, I'm not especially knowledgeable of bra sizes either.

I'm not sure that FFF is a real cup size. Once you go past a D you either just keep adding D's or you just keep going up the alphabet with each cup size. I don't think you do both. So DD = E, DDD = F, DDDD = G, etc. It would make sense that FFF = H, though.

As for why I think the second isn't realistic: smaller women tend to experience bigger changes. Most OBs will set a target for weight gain at the beginning of a pregnancy. They'll usually want smaller women (roughly average weight or less) to gain 30-35 pounds during their pregnancy, while a heavier woman may be asked to gain less. A woman with a 30 band size is fairly skinny, and adding 30-35 pounds in the right places could certainly increase her band size to a 34 by the time she's nursing. A woman with a 44 band size is probably obese or extremely obese, and may be asked to keep her weight gain under 20 pounds. That band size isn't going to change a whole hell of a lot. It's certainly possible, but less likely IMO.

TY @doubleintegral But I have a question: wouldn't DDD=EE and just go up that way?

That makes sense to me.  I just don't think it's a very common way to label bras these days.
