It came off as racist because you have a pre-set mentality of what little you know, based on what you've seen in media, the only aspects of what's shown and no real life experience, and how little you interact with people of different behavior, culture, and race. It's why you're agreeing and taking her side of ignorance.

Again. It's racism. She's not identifying behavior as an individual mentality, she's taking in a particular behavior, based on the few amount of stalkers following and liking her posts, and labeling it to a whole race collectively. That's no excuse for sexual harassment. There is a big difference between saying, "you look sexy in that dress" and "I want to cum all over your preggo belly, bitch". Ultimately, we don't know what, or if, people were commenting, so it's impossible to say definitely if she was over-reacting or not.

That said, if what she posted is the whole truth and she made her account private just because people followed and liked her content for being pregnant, then yes, she over-reacted.

I knew people would take this view of my comment before I posted it and I fully expected to get some backlash. I'm not going to play the victim card and cry because what I chose to put on the internet got me unwanted attention. This is what women who put themselves on the internet need to understand. It requires having a backbone. Know what you are getting yourself into and accept both the good and the bad. It's part of being a public figure in our society. Everyone thinks they want to be a celebrity until they actually become one. If you can't handle the good and the bad attention don't put yourself out there. People are not going to change. It's no secret that some dudes have too much thirst. As a female, you have to be aware of this when you decide to become an Instagram tease. So why doesn't she block people & delete comments? They are there 4 A REASON.. who doesn't know how to use that? A lil kid can do it but grown women can't. Women don't mind being called sexy in public when their not pregnant yet when they're big they get bent outta shape.

Oh please, the majority of women who post on Instagram aren't doing it to "tease". Most of them are posting just for fun. Don't use them lacking a backbone as an excuse for the comments. I'm astonished how some guys lose their shit when a pregnant woman they are following on social media decides to go private. They complain and act like it's the end of the world. Next, we get posts like this one telling a bunch of perverts they need to stop being perverts. We all know that is not going to happen. I never said the thirsty dudes were not part of the problem. The point I've been trying to convey is women should wake up and stop allowing themselves to be so naive.

Thirsty dudes are all over the internet. When you tease them and arouse them they are going to behave like wild animals. What the hell do you expect? This is the real world we live in, not some utopian paradise where everyone lives happily ever after and practices proper social conduct. I want to make it very clear that my point is unwanted attention from creeps is part of being a public figure. Everyone that attains a level of fame has to deal with this in some form or another. If women can't handle this dark side of internet fame then yes they should pull the plug and private their accounts. If they want to be in the game then blocking the offending profiles and deleting the offending comments and dick pics is all it takes. If they don't have time to do it themselves they should hire a moderator to police their accounts.
