I'm just wondering as a general question what things (details) people like (and maybe dislike) in pregnancy videos/stories/pictures.

For example, videos don't really do anything for me if I can't see the woman's face. Don't know why, it just does.

In regards to stories, I like numbers. Give me hard facts about how big the stomach/breasts are (or at least things to compare it to, saying big/large/huge doesn't give me much to go off of." And if there's birth, tell me how much the baby weighs, please.

In both, I like talk about how big the woman feels, and even more I like talk about someone being amazed at how big the woman is and how she can handle such a pregnancy. I'm interested in the worry/certainty that the woman will pop, but not actually in popping (It's like the ULTIMATE "I can't get any bigger!" and then she does)

It's good stuff!

I like to be positive, but if we're talking about dislikes: I'm not into dancing videos for some reason. Not sure why (maybe because I enjoy the difficulties of pregnancy and dancing kind of suggests a lack of those? It's all relative though).

Anyway, I want to know what The People want, so I can write better stuff.

(post here or DM whatever)

It seems like you like the inconvenience aspect of pregnancy. Personally my tastes are broader. I'm definitely into hearing about how the woman feels. I like the belly, obviously and I like reference to the vulnerability of pregnancy but specific numbers do nothing for me. I like dancing, I like seeing attractive women dance, and so I like seeing pregnant women dance sometimes but it's not really keyed to pregnancy. Unlike many here bigger does not necessarily equal better for me. Big is fine, but past a certain point doesn't do it for me. I'm down with pregnancy being uncomfortable, but I don't want to see a woman miserable y'know?

That's very interesting!
See, I like dancing as a general thing, but if I'm looking for pregnancy, dancing is a negative, oddly. I guess I even like dancing if it's to accentuate breasts? huh.

I'm also not a fan of miserable (I like my gals Happy, but Worried is okay). As far as size, Bigger is better for me (I've never seen a picture or video of a gal that I've said "nah, too big" to) but if we're talking about art or writing, I find that the bigger the belly is, the more skill is needed on the part of the artist/writer. Something about it has to be real and believable and Hyper Pregnancy doesn't ascribe to that (as a general rule).

Oh yeah, I think that might be it. I'm not into hyper pregnancy. It has to seem real to me. There are some really big bellies that really do it for me. But sometimes they also don't. I dunno, maybe it's also because I need to be somewhat attracted to the woman first too. There are also some shapes that I'm into more than others but it really all comes down to the specific person I'm looking at and how they come together aesthetically.

I feel that; Attraction is a very complex thing. I want some grounding in reality (because if reality doesn't matter, nothing matters). I don't think I've ever encountered a belly (in Video-form) that didn't do it for me, though. Cheap Morphs/Low-Quality art, I'll give or leave, but a REAL/SEEMINGLY-REAL belly, I'll keep forever.

Yeah, like details and happy moms, who are at least SOMEWHAT realistic.

This is a very constructive thread and I hope more people comment because it helps us pregnancy fetish, artists create better content. Of course, each preggophile has their own preferences so it comes down to whatever floats your boat, to be honest. I guess my point is obtaining enough feedback will give a good center point from which to create content the average fetish enthusiast can enjoy. With that said using words like big, large or massive in pregnancy stories works for me because it allows my imagination to paint the scene and doesn't limit me with exact measurement numbers. I like each reader of my stories to view it in their own unique way.

When it comes to birth I love very graphic descriptions and in this case, knowing exactly how much the baby weighs works well for example :

1. Anastasia gave birth to a large baby. It was the biggest and heaviest baby she had ever given birth to.

2. Anastasia gave birth to a baby that weighed 11 pounds 5 ounces. It was the heaviest baby she had ever given birth to.

Both options work but the second option gives the narrative more substance because we know the average weight of a newborn is 8 pounds 5 ounces. Anything over that tells the reader the baby is obviously bigger than normal which also suggests the birth had to be gruelling for the mother. Speaking of gruelling pregnancy itself is a difficult experience for a woman and knowing how she feels is important. I'm okay with the mother being happy but I also don't mind if she is in a lot of discomfort because that is the reality of pregnancy. Having her be all smiles without a care in the world is an unrealistic interpretation. I enjoy raw and gritty stories that don't sugar code the not so glamourous aspects of pregnancy. A good blend of sweet and sour is what I look for.

I do respect those who write and post stories here. I've done several in the past although admittedly, not for some time now. It's something I really would like to get back into. I do have two ideas which I think are worthy of posting but as always, it's a combination of a lack of personal time to dedicate to such projects and occasionally, I suffer from the classic 'writers block'. I have entirely scrapped at least one story project which I had already wrote the middle and most of the end section of, as I simply couldn't figure out a decent beginning for it all (I have a habit of drafting my stories in random 'chunks' and not necessarily in chronological order).

When it comes to videos, those which interest me the most are those which focus on the belly. Whether they show their face or not doesn't personally bother me. It's a bonus to see their face, but certainly not something which would put me off. The videos which do put me off are usually those which feature some sort of gore, burping e.t.c... They're really not for me, personally. I have absolutely zero interest in birth or indeed anything too heavily focused on genitalia. It's off-putting and will generally rule-out such videos if I see such content in the thumbnail or description. Like yourself, I'm not into dancing videos. There's often too much noise (although I know you can mute them) and far too much fast movement for you to appreciate the pregnant form. I know they're popular but I find some of them quite frustrating to watch.

Featuring factual numbers is a good one to include in stories, but just a word of caution. If you have no experience with real-life pregnancies (such as myself, I'm not ashamed to admit it), it's worthwhile researching such measurements and then coming to some sort-of average. Such as, weekly growth to the waistline. Whereabouts in the pregnancy is most common for growth-spurts e.t.c... I completely understand and agree where you're coming from with regards to simplistic phrases such as 'huge', 'large', 'massive' e.t.c. In stories, you can get away with it a couple of times, but certainly not all the time. It becomes overly repetitive. Having an online Thesaurus to hand on a separate tab whilst writing comes in very handy. That's one tip I've certainly picked up over the last decade.

In terms over story and video content, I generally really enjoy the more simpler affairs - those which feature pregnancy progression. Descriptive changes to their bellies. Circumstances they find themselves in relating to their bump. Maybe some concerns over their size in the latter third or so of their pregnancy, hoping they don't get much larger (i.e - worried about stretch marks, navels popping out e.t.c...). As odd as it sounds, such simple pregnancy progression and pregnant belly description content is hard to find. To me at least, this is what the majority of the pregnancy fetish is about!

Anyway, I'll leave it there before this becomes too long-winded.

I hope I've offered some useful advice.

Even with significant real-life experience, it's very difficult to quantifiably describe pregnant bellies. Medically speaking, gravid abdomens are measured from pubic bone to fundus, with each cm corresponding with the gestational week (35cm = 35 weeks). Any discordant measurement indicates a possible problem with the pregnancy and not necessarily a bigger/smaller baby. And that's only with singleton pregnancies, as the fundal height is meaningless with twins and beyond. Stating the circumference of the belly doesn't really help either as there is generally nothing to compare this number to.

In some ways, I do like it when vague terms such as "huge" or "enormous" are used, as it does allow for the reader to visualize things in their own way. However, this makes describing the consequences of the pregnancy more important. If a pregnant woman is full-term with quadruplets, great, but then describe how big, heavy, and burdened she feels. It roots the story in reality to at least some degree. I find it impossible to suspend disbelief when a character is prancing around effortlessly while carrying octuplets. I don't necessarily want to see the character be miserable, but it's hard to believe she isn't at the very least encumbered by her condition when in reality a woman full-term with a single baby feels quite heavy. That's why I personally most enjoy fiction where the characters are in that grey zone between hyperpregnancy and realistic singleton pregnancies. It allows for the fantasy of "bigger is always better" while still being able to suspend disbelief, at least in my mind.

Anyways, I'm new to writing fiction and still have a lot to learn.

But with videos, I find bigger is always better. Bonus points for when a woman's belly is lopsided and appears straining to contain everything in her womb.

Agreed LTKNT101, very constructive thread. There is a huge variety of expression of our admiration for fertility. Hopefully, more will respond to this thread.

I have so many likes... An overview:

I like healthy, happy pregnancy. Struggle is cool, I love the idea of a sort of "inner" hero's journey. Fighting through exhaustion, struggling with the physical demands of her pregnancy -even some mild environmental threats (maybe she needs to hide her condition; or is 'on the run'). But 100%, I enjoy reading / thinking about wanted. successful pregnancies.

I like seeing women having to adjust to her changing body. Maybe trying to find something to wear, or get a nursing bra... just having to find new ways to do regular activities. Bonus points is she is amused, exasperated, or surprised by these changes.

I love when women get, 'Awwww,' moments where they interact with their baby, or just kind of have an "I'm having a baby" moment. Women being amazed, proud, and accepting of their pregnancy is hot.

I'm attracted to the idea of a woman wanting a baby intensely. I love hearing women talk about baby fever, or being broody.

I have no interest in some of the darker stuff you occasionally see. Also, I am honestly a bit disgusted by the incest type content -seriously, who is into that? Don't enjoy huge amounts of multiples (twins is cool), or absurdly distended bellies. Alien babies and similar stuff really does nothing for me. Vore, extended time (like long lasting / permanent pregnancies)... just nothing like that.

I guess I'm a pregnancy romantic.
