(January 18, 2022, 10:09 am)Fertility lover Agreed LTKNT101, very constructive thread.  There is a huge variety of expression of our admiration for fertility.  Hopefully, more will respond to this thread.

I have so many likes...  An overview:

I like healthy, happy pregnancy.  Struggle is cool, I love the idea of a sort of "inner" hero's journey.  Fighting through exhaustion, struggling with the physical demands of her pregnancy -even some mild environmental threats (maybe she needs to hide her condition; or is 'on the run').  But 100%, I enjoy reading / thinking about wanted. successful pregnancies.

I like seeing women having to adjust to her changing body.  Maybe trying to find something to wear, or get a nursing bra... just having to find new ways to do regular activities.  Bonus points is she is amused, exasperated, or surprised by these changes.

I love when women get, 'Awwww,' moments where they interact with their baby, or just kind of have an "I'm having a baby" moment.  Women being amazed, proud, and accepting of their pregnancy is hot.

I'm attracted to the idea of a woman wanting a baby intensely.  I love hearing women talk about baby fever, or being broody.

I have no interest in some of the darker stuff you occasionally see.  Also, I am honestly a bit disgusted by the incest type content -seriously, who is into that?  Don't enjoy huge amounts of multiples (twins is cool), or absurdly distended bellies.  Alien babies and similar stuff really does nothing for me.  Vore, extended time (like long lasting / permanent pregnancies)... just nothing like that.

I guess I'm a pregnancy romantic.
These are all very good things

I could’ve written @pregnancylover post! I HEARTILY AGREE! Though incest and high order multiples aren’t “dark” Imo

For me, I love pieces of the entire experience.

Conception sex, especially when it occurs in a moment of passion and pregnancy isn't necessarily intended.
The early signs of pregnancy and that moment of realization when a woman figures out she's carrying.
Those first few weeks where the mother is starting to grow out of her clothes and has to give up eventually.
Quickening and pressing into the belly to feel the early kicks.
Rubbing and holding bellies.
Seeing the baby move inside (I hate body horror but for some reason I love this).
The skin getting tighter and being able to feel the hardness beneath your fingers.
The baby dropping into position and resting in the pelvis.
Contractions, especially when the belly visibly seizes.
Crowning and birth, with hard pushes.

So....all of it?

Early pregnancy is often overlooked, but there's a lot to love about it

Agreed, which makes sense because the visual is mostly what other people get to experience, but the internal feelings are just as important to me (even if I haven't felt them firsthand yet).

“@maidenmother your post is ANOTHER I endorse completely! How do you feel about descriptions of morning sickness? It’s about the only early pregnancy thing you didn’t mention.

I am not huge on like, any intense descriptions of vomiting or whatnot, but it is an interesting feature that is the first to really draw attention to the belly. The only thing about it is that I feel like it gets so played out in media these days. Like, any time a woman throws up "WOOPS SHE'S PREGGO" and vice versa.

I love all of the early pregnancy indicators. "Morning" sickness is only one (that's way overplayed in the media, as maidenmother points out).

Boobs getting tender, joints getting loose, feelings of tightness / fullness around the pubis mons -it's fascinating to read / see women experience these things. I love the when the baby is "her" secret. Like, she is experiencing all of this, but other people can't tell.

One of the most low-key, but awesome, real life experiences is when my wife was early in pregnancy. She would probe her lower belly -she had (for lack of a better term) a lump - a tightness, that wasn't obvious at all. But, you could feel the tightness... Hard to describe, but it was super cool for both of us.

I tend to skip morning sickness, except perhaps as a way of someone finding out that they're pregnant; nothing about it appeals to me, but it's an earlier indication than movement

As a lover of birth,I personally, love to see the details while the head emerged. If one said“the head kept in and out”,it actually, doesn't give me enough space ti imagine.Truly, watching a video can be better, but to imagine with some details by oneself will be fantastic.
