This is like the 20th time something like this has been proposed. And once again people are going to flip out over it, despite it most likely never getting passed.

Like late last year when a similar bill was proposed to kill off pornsites and nothing happened.

I'm sure you can understand why people flip out over it -- it's threatening their safety and their livelihood. Perhaps part of the reason the others didn't get passed is precisely because people flipped out and made the bills unpassable. I know if someone proposed legislation to make my work dangerous or less lucrative, I'd pitch a fit as well.

And no part thanks to this site. All you're doing is planting a seed for a cluster fuck of arguments that'll achieve nothing, just like what happened last time when people here had a panic attack over SIESA and the Admins had to step in and calm every down down:

Porn is a subcategory of sex work. Sex workers includes escorts, prostitutes, and all sorts of other people. This would mess up their shit even more than it's already been messed up. I figured maybe some of the people here who patronize sex workers might have some interest in the topic.

Here’s what the politicians need to do: listen to the researchers and academics on this who back up their ideas with tangible data. The thing is, porn is not the only thing around that’s involved with human-trafficking. Most sex-trafficking comes from Mexico though because of close proximity and a land-border. Makes travel easier.

But there’s even more that I’ve found in my own research. There’s trafficking from Central and South America that then puts the victims working on farms in the Midwest in decrepit housing. Their families are back home and in debt by the criminal syndicates for trying to get their children a better future in America. They threaten to seize their land or homes. It’s all around deception and manipulation. If America truly wants to crack down on this, they have to track the movements of the organizations. Time and time again, we’ve seen that harping on distribution isn’t that effective like with the War on Drugs. International cooperation between law enforcement agencies would extremely help as well. But damn, the US can hardly get the FBI to work with state law enforcement and especially not local. That’s a different issue entirely though.

A lot of the crime involving prostitution would practically be washed away if it was legalized, similar to drugs. Prohibition creates limited supply that can be set at any price because there’s high demand. All these politicians would need to address these matters sensibly is basic knowledge of criminology/sociology and economics.

As everyone knows though, no politician around has legitimate views anymore. They’re always bought out by the highest bidding lobbyist.

It seems moral oral/Church Lady types are in congress claiming they are for morals and defense of women and children (conservatives) and women and minorities (Liberals). What they're doing is getting rid of a major part of the internet: Adult sites and dating sites. Soon in 2022, I don't know we'll have Preggophilia or Pregchan online, nor E-Harmony or Tinder at this rate. I've been accused by those SJW/religious moralists for being a pedo or a queer, but to be attracted to pregnant women has nothing to do with being LGBT and absolutely is not child harm.
Pregnant women are growing, showing, knowing herself...and glowing bright with life. Angel
