I came across this on IG today, posted by a girl I've been following. She had posted a bump pic announcing her pregnancy, but then deleted it. All of her other pics since have hidden her belly. Apparently this is why.

Unfortunate, and probably a lot more common than people think.

This isn't anything new. Contrary to what people here think, most of a internet personality's fanbase ISN'T into pregnancy material. If her fanbase doesn't like her belly, then she'll hide it out of fear of losing subs.

And I don't blame her since her real fans will support her a lot longer than anyone who's just attractive to her stomach for a few months.

It fustrating, I follow all sorts of girls and, as far as I know, it's easy as fuck to just follow them without being any sort of nuisance. Hell I even use an app to hide my viewing of their stories so they dont see some random dude scoping them out(which some def notice)

Its so counter-productive. Like you know the pregnancy will only last for so long, yet instead of letting the girl do her thing and document the progress, people actively creep her out to the point of going private or just not posting at all during the middle of it. Believe it or not, some women don't really want to be objectified. I can not tell you how many potential legends went silent part way through because they made the mistake of using a generic hashtag. Seems the only safe ones are those who are hard to find or the few that are fine with nasty messages.

True, but this situation is kind of the opposite: people react negatively to her pregnancy content, which drives her engagement down.
