(January 8, 2020, 5:41 pm)Avarics All we can do is encourage good behavior through this thread and destroy the assholes who can't keep their mouths shut. I realize anyone can get bothered by people on social media, but that doesn't mean we take drastic action to combat it. I think that motivating people to keep things civil online in general can help. Remember, no one would leave these pervy comments if we knew who they were under those anonymous usernames.

Frankly I dont think anyone who posts on this site(minus one kookoo chicken) has any trouble understanding the issue. But its all those who lurk the site or dont know about it at all that are guilty of acting like sex depraved apes.

I went around yesterday and flagged about 20 profiles yesterday of dudes just creepin. I'll see about sharing some avatar pictures here later.

I agree completely. There is not much we can do except hope that people can control themselves. An impossible goal, but a good one to motivate and pursue in any case and not just with preggos.

I'm convinced he's got to be borderline retarded. He posts the same thing on literally hundreds of pages and I don't think I've ever seen a single person reply.

He is going by a new name. Probably from being so retarded and getting blocked. I've already made a few dummy profiles and reported him several times. I'll try and find the name so maybe some of you can flag him too.

Even though we dont like the comments: isn't making "dummy profiles" & reporting them wrong? Technically they arent braking any rules. I mivht not know the guys but making the comments isnt worth getting reported. Let em do what they want & if they act stupid they learn. Their comments will either get deleted or they will get "your comments have been blocked for 48 hours" message from IG.

they tend to never learn, unless they're reported and their comments/accounts get deleted. letting these clowns run wild has a deleterious effect on places like this, as the general public's assumption is that they represent the users here.

If you are a woman and you post sexy pictures of yourself publicly online, there's a good chance men will leave "creepy" comments on it. Either they're hoping to get lucky one way or another or they just get off knowing the woman in the photo is going to read their comment.

You can get upset by the way the world is or you can change your behavior so that it works better for you. I see a lot of very revealing photos of pregnant women on IG. If they were my daughters, I would tell them to knock it the fuck off.

Even the most innocent pictures with a woman raising her shirt to show off the belly: would she do that in public? In her office? Then why is it OK to do it on the internet? There's a little bit of obliviousness going on here. It's not great to be a creep, but it's also not great to be oblivious to the consequences of your actions in order to get some very superficial attention.

This equates to, "Maybe if you didn't wear such a short skirt, men might not grab your ass." Spare me. Women can do what they like. The only thing is to let it pass without comment. If someone is rude to them, it's that person's fault.

hmmmm... victim blaming much?

as much as i find women exposing themselves in provocative fashions on social media to be gauche and tacky (esp the IG "influencer/model" types), it's their right/perogative to do so. they're very aware of their actions, as they're taking untold amounts of energy to get just that right shot to edit and upload pictures of "the belly" (btw, it's *their* belly... nice way to dehumanize and objectify women, clod).

is it all kinda pointless and futile? yes. are they deserving of shitheels leaving stupid remarks on their posts/uploads? NO.

you sound like a puritan. you're on a website that consists of a large amount of said content. why exactly are you here?
