Or move their servers to Canada or the UK like someone with a working brain cell. You must have a fetish for Somalia or something.....

People here are once again overreacting. This bill or whatever the fuck you wanna call it isn't going to end porn, not one bit. I'd expecting nothing less from people who claim that ____ is pregnant just because her stomach isn't flat, or are gullible over anything pregnancy related.

If something actually manages to be bipartisan in America, I start to pay attention because it could be more likely than any other bill in recent history to be passed because the main point the two senators are making are being against CP. It is reasonable, but going after porn sites to try and prevent such tragedy isn’t the way. That’s why I compared it to the War on Drugs.

I’d rather prepare for the worst instead of regretting I didn’t if it does manage to get passed through Congress. It’s politically convenient now to do a prohibition on pornography. And isn’t it just a little suspicious that PornHub already tried to purge their site before this bill even got proposed? Overreacting to something that could possibly give you a criminal record is logical, in my opinion. I’d rather not compromise my career and my future over membership to a few porn sites if this bill passes.

The key point is that a Democrat and a Republican are pushing for this, and it puts pressure on the rest. Nobody wants to be connected to Epstein if they vote ‘no’ after all. Again, this is a politically convenient time for such legislation but I hope it doesn’t happen. Academics like myself don’t think that going after porn would solve all the exploitation. There has to be infiltration of these organized crime syndicates that specialize in transporting and kidnapping people. The politicians won’t tell you that most of the people trafficked through America aren’t citizens, but that’s another discussion entirely.

Implying they won't be joining us soon enough. Remember how the UK tried to block porn on all of its ISPs last year?

I remember nothing came out of it since Parliament chickened out as usual. Stop making a big deal out of nothing.

(December 23, 2020, 2:32 am)Thechickenlawyer So this is almost like Krypton-> before you are born, you will already have a career. You can't change it. Going against it will result in imprisonment (or banishment from our planet.)

So the government wants us to be controlled like robots. Here's what's next: there will be a bill on how people will be dressing. Meaning-> everything deamed sexy, revealing & inappropriate will be banned unless you pay the government to wear it. Music that isn't clean will be banned (or only clean versions will be available), weaves & fake nails, fake hair & implants will be deamed illegal (I'm fine wit dat), TV & movies that's not G or PG will be removed and nothing can he made unless it's G or PG. Imagine a life where only G rated TV is available. No other shows. Actors would have to do kids TV & movies or retire. Strip clubs would close. They will eventually ban sex workers because: we all know parents don't raise their daughters and sons to be sex workers.

Soon: anyone living in a bad neighborhood will require ID on their person at all times or they will be shot on site. Next (supposed to be done long ago): everyone has a tracking chip on them that can't be damaged & tampering with it gets you a big ass fine & 10 years in jail. Then the government will know your location. The location will be available to all family.  Next comes: a chip that literally stops girls from having sex until 18. That chip will give your neck & privates a shock that makes you in pain until your urge to kiss & have sex is gone.

Lastly (should've been done long ago): there will be a ban on teen pregnancy & they cant keep the baby. Then pregnancies wont be legally allowed until a woman has a degree or certification. Then after that we are like robots. The only thing that we could do without them knowing are taking a crap or piss without them knowing.
Jesus, dude get some help.

Just think back to SESTA/FOSTA -- that shit went through and for anyone who ever used Craigslist Personals to find preggos to meet up with, you know that it completely destroyed that entire channel of opportunity. This kind of shit has the real possibility of causing severe damage. Certainly, we'll just find a way around it, but it creates inconvenience and risk.

Makes you wonder what will become of this site if this comes to fruition. Are Admin and the mods secretly working on a solution in the background, or are we all just sitting and waiting until doomsday?

That’s why I’d rather be prepared for the worst than it slapping me right in the kisser out of nowhere. I’m going to keep a watch on this because it relates to a hobby/fetish of mine and because it involves what I do for a living, academically researching the strategies of human trafficking and transnational organized crime while trying to find logical solutions to them. Maybe the politicians need to stop reacting with their emotions and start listening to experts again. I’m fresh into the field, so I’d rather they’d listen to people wiser beyond my years for sure.

I think if the bill passes (Which I think it won't) this site will just disappear. We'll all try to log in one day and see a white error page. I mean seriously what solution could Admin possible come up with to continue operating in an environment that no longer accepts adult content based websites in the U.S.?

According to the document that Milkjetstream posted, we'll all have 2 weeks from when the bill is passed to save as much as we can before sites get restricted.
