Things are moving a bit slow, mainly because I'm duplicating/designing a basic template around the new script. It's not possible to integrate the existing template. Once Preggophilia is updated, the initial template probably will not be responsive. In the interest of updating the site, I'm putting together something as quickly as possible which will be updated further (CSS stuff) for responsiveness.

It was a mistake on my part to set such a close deadline. I'd rather take my time and test everything properly. Also, given the size of the database, this must be done properly. If a mistake is made, the site will need to be restored and that's a huge pain.

Partly at the suggestion of a frequent poster, I'm testing a few different tagging solutions and this takes time too. Tagging will allow posts to be marked as nude and non-nude and pornographic (explicit/sex) to make content easier to sort. I'd also like to make sure links are hidden from guests within certain threads.

I've noticed a serious improvement in performance with the upgrade.

How do you tell read threads from unread ones with the new format?
