This is an unpopular opinion and TBH I dont even care. I have multiple OF memberships. Most of them I have let just die and I have not renewed. My problem is the women charge exorbitant amounts of money to get in the door and for Customs. They dont post much of anything. You pay to subscribe then you keep getting DMs with more stuff that you have to pay for. That's ridiculous. I didnt subscribe to this OF to drop more money every month. Some of them swear theyre going to upload and dont even bother. I have one I just joined where the woman has posted three times in the past month. I have another where she may have posted twice, and what she does is keep on posting about "Im sorry I havent posted but Im going to drop a ton of videos soon". People really took this and abused it. I know this has nothing to do with OF or their practices in general but Im just saying that this is a wake up call to women like them. They got on OF and made real easy money, milking people for more money every time they did something or barely updating their pages. Now they lost everything. I hope they stashed all that money they made somewhere.

yes, you pay for the sub+for videos and don't even see a good preview beforehand. its like you give money for free or for nothing. most videos are not even a minute long. they are 8 seconds long. and most of them film in this phone resolution 1080x1920. why? can't you set your phone so it films in 1920x1080? I don't get it. even on manyvids I see some film in this phone resolution. thankfully it is only a handful. 

but I'm glad the shitshow (party) is over. I respect only fans now and don't see it as a joke.

They got scared after 630K people passed from the virus last spring & decided to do porn. We see signs that say "we're hiring!" & "Open interviews (insert day here)." But the companies can't compete. I read articles about this. Here's an example: lets say there's 700 people in a factory.. 650 quit & do porn.. now we got 50 people working & the cost to keep the machines running & the products cost more.

Schools are also expelling kids for their parents doing porn. (I've read about it.) But the 2 biggest problems are: they are the new reason for companies hiking up the prices. Targer & other stores as well as companies (if someone had a degree or certification) can't pay a woman more per week than she'd make on OF or that other site. They simply can't afford it. They can't say: "you make 15K a month there? We will pay you 20K a month & give you a bonus after 6 months & free Healthcare."

Sounds like the good ol' wild west free market is working perfectly, then. Can't afford workers? Shut it down.

Also @Akhenaten , they could definitely support the pornography on the platform. It’s the vast majority of their profits. The problem arises from the stingy investors and bankers, who probably ironically support regular porn without issue for some reason. The thing about something like this going viral, greater chances of success for those speaking up. At the end of the day, appeal to those who stand to profit and they’ll back you. That’s an oversimplification, but goddamn if the whole sex-worker community didn’t come out in full force then I wouldn’t have seen OF overturn this decision.

It’ll be interesting to see how this develops with other new companies. I actually prefer Fansly now. It reminds me a lot of Patreon and OF. There’s membership tiers on there like Patreon but there’s also PPV and tipping as well. Jessica Nigri already has 10,000+ subs but it is free to follow her.

That's the free market working like all the free market nuts said it should. Porn pays more (or has other benefits people prefer, like making your own hours), so it's a more enticing career. I'm not sure what you want me to say. We can't just shut down porn to force people into low-paying work. I mean, do you even hear how insane that sounds to begin with? That's the same as all the asshole Republican governors who refused Federal unemployment aid to force people to go back to work at bad, dangerous, low-paying jobs. Oh, and for the record, it didn't even work.

You want people to go back to those jobs? Make those jobs more enticing. Pay people properly. Period.

Why are you throwing shade at an industry that produces content you consume? I'm sure your pc/smartphone is full of porn just like any other average guy. If anything you should be supporting women leaving dead-end jobs and becoming self-employed doing something that will secure their financial futures. I wish I was born female sometimes because porn is like cashing in a winning lottery ticket. In these uncertain times, if I was a female I would have become a porn content provider in a heartbeat. 

Porn is not the reason Sears and other places are going out of business. You can blame Amazon and internet shopping for that. The porn industry is not the reason you had to wait an hour for your meal. You can blame the reduction in staff on Covid. Since March of 2020 times have been hard for companies and they have been forced to make cutbacks in order to remain in business. The world is changing and I don't think the normal we had before Covid will ever return.

People who find themselves unemployed have to find other ways to make money. Fortunately for females, they have the porn industry as an option and there is nothing wrong with that. If porn was as good to men as it is for women I would be doing it because I could use that kind of money right now.

These same kinds people enjoy brothels secretly I bet. Reminds me of that Hungarian law-maker that was notoriously homophobic and then was chased out of a homosexual orgy or something. It’s more of a “Rule for thee, but not for me” mentality. Pretty relevant with politicians COVID regulations too. Anyone in power will probably abuse it then and there.

But they quickly turned around their ban on porn because the site wouldn’t be able to last without it. Squeaky wheel got the oil here. Especially when OF started noticing new platforms popping up to compete with them. Ask any of these bankers and investors if they’ve ever looked at a Playboy magazine or at just any kind of porn. Everyone does it, even if they say they don’t. We’ve got it just at the touch of our fingertips now. Saying this is capitalism’s fault isn’t very accurate. I mean, the market will just provide new platforms to choose from. Just like how the PC outmatched the Commodore 64, and the failure of the Dreamcast. Hell, everyone didn’t really like the Wii-U but then everybody got the Switch years later. Things like this happen. And this proves that if you’re vocal enough about an issue, people will eventually start to listen.
