Hi I just would like to know how you guys kept your mental stabilized during the quarantine. Personally, I’ve struggled but am starting to see some happiness now. Tips are also welcome

I began seeing a therapist weekly. I had been meaning to, anyway. The timing was a coincidence.
I've basically been the same throughout the entire ordeal. I was fortune enough where my lifestyle and mentality didn't really change outside of wearing a mask ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. Work didn't really change and I hardly went out to begin with.
Found it hard as couldn't meet friends. Very frustrating and felt depressed.
I feel weird like something is boiling up in me. I don't mind the do's and don'ts, the lock downs or getting vaccinated (hopefully soon) but the world feels off. And I wonder how fast the unimaginable became the new normal.
I found it harder to judge my own mental state since I had fewer people to talk to, but over time I adjusted. Made more time to talk to friends online, started exercise routines at home ect. It's important to have outlets.
Wanking it everyday on here helps.
Eh... I'm an introverted Autistic dude. Personally, I'm rooting for the Delta variant (In case you need me to clarify, it's a joke, I know lots of people suffered under little c)!
The world caters to NT extroverts and their syncophants like 99.99% of the time, so it was nice that, for once, a few social conventions broke our way. My S/O and I often talk about this: Did the world become a scary and confusing place in 2020? Did it become counterintuitive, nonsensical? Did it feel like everyday brought new compromises and defeats? YEAH, WELCOME TO OUR ENTIRE LIFE. | |||||||||||||||||
