I'm sure most people are going to think this sounds completely crazy, but I've got to ask...

Does anyone else see these gorgeous Insta-famous pregnant women and just kind of go "meh"? Don't get me wrong, they're lovely to look at. And I appreciate the time people take to find those women, download all their photos, and painstakingly post them all here for lazy bums like myself (I used to contribute a lot more but have been more of a taker lately). But somehow it almost seems like the internet is saturated with so many of them, and a pregnant bump is basically a fashion accessory in cookie-cutter photos. A lot of the old thrill of the hunt -- that "holy shit what a find!" feeling -- is gone.

That last part in particular probably doesn't make a lot of sense unless you've been doing this for a long time. I've been at it for like 15 years. I used to scour LiveJournal for shit, and finding anything at all was like winning the lottery. Those photos seemed more real and intimate somehow... the stuff today is all about getting Likes or whatever (unless of course you're getting Likes from gross people like us, am I right? Icky!), and that makes it seem empty for me.

All that said, I hope no one stops posting their awesome finds just because I'm a grumpy old shit going on about the good old days when content was scarce and often bad. This is a golden age, as you don't have to go hunting for it anymore -- it's as simple as searching for #pregnant! This is not a bad thing! It's wonderful! I just wonder if anyone else has had the same thoughts.

Thanks and keep the content coming. Life is short and we need to fill it with as many beautiful pregnant women as possible. Smile

I've been at it long time too, as I've had the fetish before I knew how to use a computer. I personally haven't lost the thrill of a good find. I think my biggest worry at this point is that some of the recent finds (the freaking HUGE twinner thread, for example) are so great, they almost can't be topped. So in that way, I worry its all down hill from here. Even though I know there will be more great ones, I'm not sure that girl can be topped.

Of course, it did take over 14 years for candy_k to be topped as my favorite cam girl (dethroned by camsex222 in my book).

It's just so overwhelming how much readily available content is now, as opposed to back in 2004. And it's not a case of the loss of quality over quantity, but rather of a GOAT candidate popping up at an almost daily rate to the point of exhaustion in my case.

What helps me is just look at finds as themselves and not constantly compare them to other pregnant woman you find all the time.

What really fucked with me is when I had a thread titled "Spectacular Preggo" And many people said "tHaTs nOt spectacular" but im just ranting

I get how you feel Akh. Quality prego pics were hard to come by years ago, so finding good ones were special. Now that quality prego pics are easy to find it takes some of the fun out of it. It's kinda like being spoiled by having so much. For me, I don't mind. In fact, I appreciate how prevalent good prego images are now. I don't have to spend three hours searching flickr, webshots(remember that one?) or google image search to find prego content. As result I have a very nice collection that I can just relax and enjoy.

The thrill of the hunt certainly was part of it. Browsing through "expecting" profiles on Myspace, randomly clicking on a girl with an unassuming profile pic, and being rewarded with fantastic belly pics was a special feeling.

For me, it just took too much damn time. Anyone who's been around for the last ten years or so knows how much time and effort I used to put into finding and posting content. Flickr, Smugmug, Webshots, Photobucket, Myspace, and Youtube were all daily stops for me, and it would sometimes take hours to go through everything. The time investment eventually made me numb to everything. I felt a little bit of a resurgence for a while with Instagram, but that passed too.

I think with the internet being the way it is now, sexy pregnancy pictures are a lot easier to find. Pregnancy is seen as sexy by a lot more people, including the women themselves, and more women are out there making content that caters to our niche.

Unless the entire internet pulls a Tumblr, things are going to get better and better for us. Smile

No, I never get tired of seeing beautiful women with big ripe pregnant bumps. But I am sure lots of us along with myself are getting tired of so many of them. Look at the front page of the pictures section.

You've got Misc. Clothed Pregnancy Pics with 198 PAGES of content!
You've got Happy as they labour with 90 PAGES of content!
You've got Randoms with 144 PAGES of content!
You've got Multiple(s) MOTHERLOAD!! with 72 PAGES of content!

If each of those were full posts of pictures with 10 posts per page and 20 pictures per post, that is 100,800 pictures. That is legit almost 1/3rd of all the pictures posted on this site in 4 threads! Now I appreciate when you guys share I do, its literally how this forum stay alive. But have you been through those threads? I dont wanna say they are bad pictures, but lets just say comparatively, they are very vanilla. Or theyre just blatant reposts! I dont understand it, are @sblicker and @Martina346 trying to fill a quota??? Because they sure aint getting all that many likes.

That's just the front page, combine that with how many "Instagram Finds' threads there are and yes, I get pretty apathetic to it all. But that doesnt bother me. What bothers me, is that when one of us finds that goldmine like the good ol days, that amazing progression we cant wait to share with the community, it immediately gets overthrown by those megathreads within hours, because everyone is trying to post everything. I posted THE VERY GREATEST(imo) progression I found all year, I waited 6 months til I felt everybody would see it and enjoy it, and it probably wont last a whole week on the front page. I'm sure not everyone visits this site daily, and I'm sure even less people check page 2. I get tired of new threads with boring pictures. Everyone seems so excited to share FIRST rather than share BEST, and we end up with "meh"

Yes, it is amazing how easy it is to find good content today. I used to remember looking forward to the new JUGGS magazine at the porn store. Yes, once a month, you got 4 pages of some pregnant chic. Yes, times have changed for the better. 8~)

I think the content in Multiple(s) MOTHERLOAD! Is pretty good, it's really long so there's gonna be some meh but also great in there. It'll be hard to find since it is 72 pages, this is how I kind of felt when uploading the recent Twinners as thread. They got overthrown by Large Freaking Twinner which has like 7 pages, I check the thread and it's just "well she deleted everything on her profile" I don't know that's just me.

But for me, If one or two people seen a post and liked it, I really appreciate it, I at least know there are people who like to check my threads. I don't want to just post photos and get no likes, 1-2 and occasionally a lot of likes are good, but I'm just rambling. But also Tomo I appreciate that Twinner you found, it's way better than the other one's raving about. Not that, that one is bad, yours is better
