Hi all, I am wondering if my fellow maiesiophiles can help me uncover further information about the dark underbelly (heh) of Seeking/SA pregnant providers. I have fallen twice for scams that, upon reflection, shared some key components and I am currently finishing interacting with another provider right now who has operated in a very similar fashion as I intentionally played along. Maybe this will all sound familiar to some...

The scam unfolds as such: A woman who was very recently pregnant creates a "verified" (i.e. face verified) account with alluring late 3rd trimester (30+ weeks) but not explicit pics and provides their location as in a major American metropolis. Note, I eventually learned of the pregnancy being over by the time the profile was created in both cases by taking some of their pics with their faces shown and running them through pimeyes.com (highly recommend you pay for the $30/month service if you're already on SA) which helped me to discover that the women modeled during their pregnancy and their camming and the SA profile timelines didn't line up. After a local fan such as yours truly shows interest via the internal messaging service, the woman makes sure the fan isn't going to be a leech - but rather someone whom she can leech off of - looking for free pics and roundabout sex talk. Once she has concluded that the fan is serious, she swiftly moves the conversation to SMS (using VPN or Google Voice number or the like) and starts offering (previously taken) pics in exchange for cashapp transactions. Then, following some sexting and further sharing, the woman would start to suggest meet ups that would eventually lead to a hookup, usually within a week or two, using presumably Google Maps to gleam information about places in the planted location. As time gets closer to the date of the initial meetup, she starts to ask for bigger "gifts" - money for a dress for the meetup, etc. Next, and most importantly, some sort of death or tragedy befalls the woman and she needs to go somewhere quickly. She gets very emotional and overall attempts to come across as vulnerable in hopes of more cash deposits to help her through this pseudo rough time. The woman supposedly makes arrangements and leaves - days go by, she keeps up the act but the texting becomes more sporadic, and then out of nowhere there is a sever of communication, she blocks your account, etc. as the timer starts to run out on her fake pregnancy. Rinse and repeat, I imagine.

I know the woman I am dealing with now is running basically the same scam because: She will only send face pics (which come up clean) or body shots (which I reversed image searched to a redditor cam girl's older posts) when her profile has pics of both her face and body; her number is from a VPN service (it's possible that she could be using a VPN on her phone but that takes a little more than average technical skills to implement unlike say setting up a Sideline number); and she is supposedly in Arizona right now grieving but still talking all suggestive like. By the way, I think she's too stupid to realize that SA indicates whenever she's online because, if believed, she would be surfing soon after attending a funeral, lol. Growing bored at this point, I finally submitted a phishing report to SA after she asked for non-trivial sum, so hopefully a less burned fan's money has been saved. ANYWAY, as I said earlier, I bring this up here to hopefully get some discussion or comparing of notes going, or maybe some suggestions of how to start looking for SA provider forums where perhaps a scam bible detailing this con is made available. There is definitely a pattern here and perhaps a particularly gross story to be broken. Thanks.

More recently it has become a common thing. To the extent that its almost a targeted audience, SA doesnt care about scammers even if you can prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that they are scamming people and breaking the site rules and user agreements. Recommendation would be to simply stop using the site since you need to pay just to be able to talk to other members in the first place. "Verified" can be faked, and if someone refuses to verify who they are to you (which can be accomplished by a literal button press, or even on the site that has an in browser video chat option) then there's a solid chance they are not who they say they are. Good rule of thumb, The very few genuine individuals are usually more than happy to prove who they are and accommodate as long as you are respectful and friendly.

Sound advice, but where did the scam originate from? It's a very specific confidence game and I'm wondering if there's a way to investigate it.
