Yes and no. Certainly, 99% of the women on there are there purely for fun and financial gain. I seem to have met someone who, while she does want that, wants something a little more serious. So they're out there. Just be clear about your own intentions and you might meet some interesting people. But do be careful, because most of the women on there will take your money and run.

Welcome to being a man?  (Sorry, maybe you're not a man --- my apologies in that case --- although I understand non-men who date women also find it difficult to start casual sexual relationships with women.  For instance, I know "through the grapevine" that a bisexual female acquaintance who prefers women is frustrated by the difficulty pinning down female partners compared to male ones.)

If you want to have high quality or niche sex, and you want to have it often or without searching far and wide and spending your entire day on dating apps, you're probably going to have to earn the privilege somehow...  Last time I checked there aren't many pregnant women on dating apps, and even the normal, non-pregnant ones aren't exactly a walk in the park as far as regular hook-ups are concerned.  So unless you have something women are dying to drop their drawers for (looks, popularity, money, etc. --- even then still not a walk in the park), yeah, "giving up something" sounds about right.
