I don't know that I'd call them greedy. They're there to do business. They have something to sell, and there are buyers. However... some of them start the conversation by asking how I'm going to send them money, and that's usually the tip-off that you're being propositioned by an escort. I have nothing against escorts and I wish they didn't have to operate in the shadows, but frankly it does piss me off that they're trying to find clients on a site that's tailored specifically for sugar arrangements. I paid for this service and don't want my time wasted like that.

It's been about 3 weeks now, and here are the mention-worthy connections I've made:

1. Young woman who just got dropped by her SD right before rent was due. The income she makes from employment isn't near enough to sustain her lifestyle, so she's desperately looking for a replacement SD. She needs a huge allowance and didn't really pique my interest, but we still chat. I have a feeling we won't anymore once she finds a new SD.
   
2. Young woman who is only on the site for attention, by her own admission. We get along very well and I find her to be quite cute, so I probed a bit and asked about an arrangement. She said she's already got enough interpersonal stuff going on but would be happy to be friends (ugh, then why are you... nevermind). A shame -- however, she's a reckless covidiot, so that killed my interest anyway.
   
3. Young woman who presents herself as very sweet, intelligent, and emotionally mature, but who is lying to me like there's no tomorrow. I've been around the block a couple of times, so I know you've got to do your research on people for your own protection. Call it creepy if you want, I don't care, but I managed to find her on Facebook and discover that she's not at all who she says she is. I completely understand why a person would fib a little in order to stay safe from mentally-ill stalkers and the like, but if she can lie about so many things from the get-go, what else might she lie about in the future? She lied about having kids (probably to protect them, which I think is cool actually), but she also lied by saying that her relationship with her significant other is casual and that he knows she's trying to become a SB. It's most definitely not casual -- but more importantly, what if he doesn't know about her sugar aspirations? I'm an ethical non-monogamist and will not engage in something if I don't have complete assurance that all involved parties are on board. I'm probably going to have to politely call her out and say that since we can't start with honesty (which, ironically, she keeps saying is the most important thing), I don't feel comfortable moving forward. She's quite attractive, so this one's a real bummer. Update: Shortly after posting this, I did go ahead and inform her that I'm not moving forward.
   
4. Pregnant young woman who doesn't communicate very frequently, but she's pretty and only 20.5 weeks. If I buy her things from her baby registry, we should be able to have an arrangement of sorts.
