Is the government trying to decrease the population (sorry to sound like a conspiracy theorists) or is it because of covid situation is why we don't see pregnant ladies out here as much as in the last few years?

Let me know your thoughts

Honestly neither. The amount of candids and general pictures that get post hasn't decreased in the slightest. The Birth rate hasn't drastically changed either.

If you hang out in any public environment consistently enough you are going to see some knocked up bellies. City parks, movie theatres, WIC offices, and of course the candid pic hunter's personal favorite, Targets and Wal-Marts.

COVID is pretty much history at this point and has no effect on the rate wombs are being inflated.

I think OP might be on the right track tbh…mostly with the first suggestion.

If I have to pay just to read some article, then I'm not going to take anything from it at face value. Nor any politcal discussions that emits from this site. Some of you turn toxic whenever politics are brought up.

Developed and post-industrial regions have lower birth rates because of higher education levels, low infant mortality, economic security, and access to contraceptives. Economic security was a big reason why the birth rate went down during the height of the pandemic. People are less likely to have kids if they can't work and no one is hiring. There's no big conspiracy, it's simply human psychology.

Indeed some people are this careful and avoid conceiving in conditions that are less than satisfactory however, there are just as many who are reckless and end up making babies they can’t afford.

The idea of enforced population control has been something the U.S. government has entertained however the constitution makes implementing it impossible.

I always thought it was a good idea for the government to make teen pregnancy illegal & college pregnancy illegal.. they are just scared to do it. Teen moms keep saying they're good moms but people without degrees or certifications can't be good moms (unless ur rich) & those living on their own are about as smart as Fox News watchers. Telling teens to wait or use birth control ain't workin

Lastly: yes there is a census but not all people fill it out. Social media shows it is not dropping. Birth control is NOT as effective as they say it is. The companies pay scientists & doctors to keep quiet. I've done some work & a friend showed me tons of millions of posts of females who used it & got pregnant. If over 100 million females use it & ot keeps failing, it needs to be improved. If the real number went out, it would partially replace Ukraine in the news.

The reason why some of our favorite celebrities (according to us) have never gotten pregnant is easy: look at Vanessa H (from Disney) & Lucy Hale.. they were on 2 different BC commercials. Why? To make it popular. I bet they used it & got pregnant many times.. no female wants to get an abortion (or take the pills) every few months. Some of our fave celebrities probably: hid from their guys & society, gave birth & gave the babies to women then got their body back.

There's nothing in the constitution that prohibits this.

Here's some American history that should never be forgotten. The majority of states had laws allowing forced sterilization of women, usually in the context of receiving government assistance or being in a mental institution. This was often targeted towards non-whites and was rationalized as protecting society's morality. In 1964, Legislators in Mississippi proposed making pregnancy out of marriage a felony, with the punishment being either prison or sterilization. These laws are still on the books in 31 states and Washington D.C. Even to this day, judges will offer reduced sentences if convicts submit to sterilization. An OB/GYN in Georgia was caught giving forced sterilizations to women at an immigrant detention center only two years ago.

American eugenics programs were actually studied by the Nazis and used during the Holocaust.
