I don't have a strong grasp of the learning curve because I learned to code when I was very young and haven't learned any new languages in over a decade.

Java or Kotlin for android, but it also supports C++. I'm working my way through android development, and have also thought about a dating/meetup site for kinks and fetishes. If this was to come true, there needs to be some hard monitoring of activity and who is using the app/site and for what reasons. That seems to be the main reason Backpage and others like it went down. They were seen as illegal prostitution and child sex rings which brought eye and fist of the government down on them.

I'm sure we all agree that both of those are bad and have no place in these spaces, so any app or website that comes up to fill the void left behind needs to be ready to police their traffic or face the wrath of the government.

I figure we explicitly define which kinks people can match with one another, instead of allowing freeform entry. That's a lot less expensive than deploying resources to monitor activity. And frankly, having some AI overlord watch everything is not realistic right now. Things will be missed, then we'd be on the hook for it. What a joke. Better to simply control it from the beginning.

Meeting girls is one thing (and it sucks), but pregnant ones? They're already flighty online, so trying it in person... I can't see that ending well in 99% of cases.

Due to SESTA-FOSTA, we're in the process of reviewing and closing all threads that could be perceived as enabling sex workers. A rule will be posted advising members and women to not solicit meetings. Sex workers, not webcam girls.

I'm not yet sure how to thread-the-needle on meetup requests and invitations, but we'll likely err on the side of caution. It sucks, but it's a legal requirement.
