Like myself and many here who admire the concept of pregnancy and pregnant women, I have noticed when discussing my pregnancy admiration to non-fetish people, (especially women) they feel uncomfortable or are sensitive about it. What is it that society looks down on those who discuss/admire pregnancy?

Well, it can be argued that (personal) perceived physical beauty is pretty important to women and the weight gain and stretch marks that can go along with pregnancy messes with that. Many don’t even know there are people like us. I do hope when I have a family in the future that it could help me be more supportive of my mate.

Because pregnancy is a life altering experience for many women. Their bodies will go through various changes within a 9 month span. Some women have easy pregnancies, while others will go through hell. As a man, you don't really an equivilent to pregnancy that you'll go through (the closest thing would be passing a kidney stone) so you can't really empathize with them and see from their perspective that pregnancy isn't as postitive or as great as you may see it.

I literally said not every woman will have a difficult pregnancy if you'd read my comment.

I read it, you just made it seem like women never consider pregnancy a positive….

Because the main topic of the thread are the select women who don't have a pregnancy fetish, and are sensitive about pregnancy. I'm fully aware that there are those who enjoy pregnancy, but what's the point of me putting more emphasies on them when they are not the main discussion piece?

My opinion is some people are late to the party in regard to being aware that pregnancy has been sexualized in society and is no longer just a private thing that is shared only with family and friends. Also, because there is a child involved some people become very uncomfortable with the idea of a person being attracted to a pregnant woman especially if that attraction triggers sexual arousal. This lack of awareness among the general population is why we often keep our fetish to ourselves.

The good thing is more and more people are becoming aware of this fetish, particularly women who are constantly unloading dancing videos, belly growth weekly updates, and other TikTok challenges while pregnant. Some women love being pregnant so much that they literally become sad after they pop and can't wait to get pregnant again.

Some women have discovered that selling their pregnant bodies can generate spending money so they put themselves on sites like OnlyFans and Chaturbate to feed the hunger for pregnancy content. We the content consumers see pregnancy from the outside and while we are aware of how taxing and serious getting pregnant is the desire to be entertained is paramount. It is completely understandable why some women don't find pregnancy to be a thrill ride.

To them, it's probably the equivalent of hearing how nice a bad cold is from a person who has a cold and flu fetish. When we have a cold we don't feel our best and we certainly don't think we are appealing to anyone because of all the gross stuff that is happening to our bodies. Pregnancy can be a miserable experience.

Of course, there is the joy of bringing a life into the world but outside of that, the average person doesn't think about pregnancy in any other way.

Everyone is different at the end of the day. From the women I know, I would say more of them have disliked it, rather than liked it. I can 'kind-of' understand why - although purely from a selfish point of view, I find that quite sad. (I was initially going to say 'disappointing' but that's putting it too strongly).

I know one of my work colleagues fancied a third child but that was more to satisfy her maternal instincts than to go through pregnancy again. Her first one she described as 'horrible', whilst the second she seemed to go through okay. She has come up with some interesting and good descriptive details which I've posted here in the past. Another colleague I have has also had two children in the time I've worked there. I can probably count on one hand she's talked about either of her pregnancies. Another went through one (before my time with the company) and vowed to never have another child which considering she's just turned 45, seems as if she's stuck by her word.

I genuinely admire women who enjoy pregnancy and are willing to be quite open about it. I suppose it takes a lot of confidence. Whether from YouTube videos or whatever, I feel I've learnt quite a lot over the years.

I only hope as time goes by and more people out there can learn to accept the pregnancy fetish, it can be something that can be discussed a little more openly. I wont be holding my breath though. Given the negative light the fetish is still seen under, it's no wonder why I only ever open-up to having this fetish amongst those who also have it.
