I wanted to hear what others think about the effect pregnancy has on women of different ethnic backgrounds/race and which one you guys think is sexiest. I have noticed trends in the way pregnancy is treated or how it looks based on a woman's race. For example, hispanic women tend to be more open about their pregnancy and treat it as normal while also putting on very little weight except in the belly while white women seem to treat pregnancy more like a condition, and usually get a wardrobe of new maternity clothes to cover their belly. Maybe I'm just weird but id be interested to know if this is something others have noticed as well, maybe between asians, russians, pacific islanders, Indians, or anyone else. If it is maybe I'll write a larger more detailed thread.

I never saw this thread so thank you. I think my emphasis is less on belly size alone. It's more about the effects pregnancy has. For example there's a medical phenomena known as the hispanic paradox in obstetrics, where hispanic women or women from hispanic cultures have less complications than almost any other group regardless of socioeconomic status. I used to debate with an ex of mine about why that is because we both observed that hispanic preggos seem to be more carefree while pregnant, they don't treat it like it's a condition and have no problem showing their belly in public.

And similarly caucasian women tend to be the exact opposite. In fact something a lot of people forget is that pregnancy used to be seen as taboo to even acknowledge in american culture, women would wear clothing designed to hide their bump and if necessary would only refer to being in a 'family way' or expecting 'the stork'. While this tradition changed around the 90s I think we still have a lot of cultural echoes from before then, which is why Caucasian women will usually act quasi embarrassed or self conscious about their bump in public. 

I've put a little bit of thought in this from my days as a waiter, I used to make note of these things. There were a few times a guest would rub their belly and quickly cover it if someone saw them - always white chicks. Whereas I had a group of regulars that were black girls and even when was a week overdue she always pulled her shirt over her belly and let it hang out. Pretty great btw, she would always insist on belly rubs too.

I generally find it attractive that East Asian women are pregnant. On average, white women, black women, Hispanic women, and women in the photographs that I see, have a lot of women who seem to get bigger and muscular as they get pregnant, so I personally don't feel much sexual desire. When East Asians are pregnant, most of them are divided into two categories, either they gain a lot of weight while pregnant, or they don't gain weight and only grow their belly. Because I hate BBW personality very much, I hate the former and prefer the latter very much. And because of East Asians, if they feel like they're gaining weight or ashamed of themselves, they don't want to post pictures of their pregnant bodies, so they have some self-filtering effects. That's why I feel that East Asians are more sexual 'on average'. Of course, person is more important than race, but on average, I feel sexual when I see East Asians.

That's a great point man, the whole thing about two categories of women who get bigger all over. I personally love the look of all the body with a big belly but it's hard to come across. It's part of what makes finding decent content so hard, especially artwork. A lot of preg content has a huge cross over with BBW.

Personally the penultimate 'body type" is small tits and huge belly. I have a sub kink for skinny or scrawny chicks with a huge belly but even artwork is hard to find

Russians and Brazilians for those torpedo bellies!

Slavic/eastern european tend to be my favorites.

white women in general.

i'm not attracted to black women or latin women (with some exceptions). some asian women i find attractive.

bigger is NOT better, and it's led to a steady decline of subpar posts where size trumps quality. everyone has their preferences, yes, but i'm rather picky about what i find attractive in women, which tend to be white women who don't gain any weight except for the belly area... basically, skinny women with nice bellies.

Flex_Offender, you're basically asking from a cultural/aggregate standpoint which ethnicity presents their pregnancy in a manner that is most pleasing, right? And for you it's "skinny or scrawny chicks with a huge belly". Also, I'm familiar with the "Hispanic paradox", it's the phenomenon that those of Hispanic descent often have less medical issues across a wide spectrum is illnesses regardless and often despite poorer socioeconomic conditions. Some researchers suspect it may have to do with stronger familial support, but I don't believe there's a known cause.

I'm not sure that the Hispanic Paradox would be responsible for women of Hispanic descent to be more likely to show their belly in public, I would assume that's purely coincidence. Not to get too sciency, but your observation could easily be biased as well. If you expect Hispanic women to show their bellies more, you may be more primed to look for and note when that happens, and disregard or not note women of other ethnicities showing their belly in public. Or if you live in an area where Hispanic women constitute a majority or at least significant percentage of the population, perhaps you observe that through sheer volume alone? As a fellow "enthusiast" for the pregnant belly, I have observed no difference along any demographic variable I can think of that would be a predictor of women showing their belly in public. Of course, I wouldn't argue that my observations are any better or more accurate than yours, and another member could share their observations which could easily contradict both of our observations.

I suppose at this point I should at least answer your question, I'd go with women of Asian descent. I also have a "thing" for Asian women; I wonder how much of an overlap there is between "belly preference" and "racial/ethnic preference"?

I do appreciate your inquiry, if it wasn't super obvious, I found it to be very thought provoking.
