So one of my teachers is pregnant, around 6-7 months and I want to touch or rub or feel her belly (maybe even bare belly) before she goes on maternity leave. How should I go about asking her? I'm not too social with her and we don't talk much but she's really nice and I feel like I could get to touch her bump. I've never really tried to touch a teacher's belly so I'd love to hear experiences or advice. Thanks.

Just ask her nicely. Maybe lie and say that your aunt/cousin/neighbor is also pregnant and strike up a conversation from there. I'm sure other students/faculty have touched her bump before, so don't be nervous.

I don't think it's a good idea at all, especially in today's climate where literally everything and anything a man does can be called sexual harassment. A lot of it truly is, mind you, but I think we're fast approaching a point where stuff that clearly isn't will be construed as such because now people are hypersensitive to it.

BUT HEY, if you're determined to do it anyway... Maybe try an approach like "I've never touched a pregnant belly, or even seen one up close, for that matter. What's it feel like?"

Assuming that OP is a teen in highschool, I doubt the teacher will suspect any type of sexual behavior from him just asking to rub her belly (unless he acts weird about it and gets too carried away).

Ask her after school when everyone is heading out. Say something about your mom or sister used to be pregnant and ask to feel her belly & maybe to feel the baby in her belly. Hopefully it works. Worked for me once in 6th grade.

I have to agree. I think the keyword is "man." Most of the shaming and intolerance seems to be leveled at what adult men do to their peers, subordinates, and younger women. Can't imagine a kid hitting on his high school teacher being "creep shamed." I can imagine the teacher being blamed, however.

Just strike up a conversation about her pregnancy. Nothing weird, don't ask about how big she's getting, but start out with, maybe, "are you going to be with us after the break?" or something, as a convo starter. Then she'll probably tell you when she's leaving, or how far along she is. And a good segue into touching is something like "my cousin said that's around the time her baby started kicking like crazy", and if she has an active baby, it'll be kicking, so there's a good chance she'll either ask if you want to feel, or you can ask and she'll say yes or no.

This statement is ridiculous on so many levels. There are pretty clear demarcations on what constitutes sexual harassment. If you're not a total creep appropriate behavior should be common sense. For example, don't jack off into a plant in front of this teacher. Just asking her if you can touch it is innocent enough, people do it all the time. Really the worst thing that can happen is she'll say no and/or think you're some kind of weirdo.

Yeah.. unless she asks you why its cool.

But I say go for it. It would be your most exciting thing in school. I remember my 1st time. I didnt know what it was at age 5. I kept looking at my teacher like "why is she so big?" It drove me nuts for a few days.
