I don’t think a pregnant woman having a large belly is an unrealistic standard. Big bellies are real, maybe not as frequent as I would like but they are out there. The only thing porn does is present unrealistic scenarios that are mostly based on the fantasies of the male directors and producers.

And that's basically my point. Do girls with smaller than average bumps ever get popular here nowadays? We're more selective now due to the amount of preggo content available. We're filtering out small to average sized bellies, and we're getting used to the bellies of Candy Essex, HaleyLette, linda_0nline, renatafuentesx and tinatittie. I'm pretty sure the vast majority of pregnant women don't get that big.

It's turning a lot of guys here into "size queens" or whatever we call them. This could also lead to problems that people who use to much porn suffer from, such as performance issues and desensitization. A lot of guys in their 20s now have porn induced ED because their brains got used to bigger than average assets on women, sexual acts that aren't typical, certain looks that aren't realistic, etc. I feel like some of us might head down the same path. It's what excessive porn consumption does. Imagine finally getting lucky with a pregnant chick, but not being able to get hard because her belly isn't big enough for you.

I wish people would stop using the Ted Bundy defense of blaming porn for things that it does not create or cause. The fascination with aggressively protruding huge pregnant bellies has nothing to do with over exposure to porn. In fact, most pregnancy porn content shows women with modest size bellies.

The saying “Bigger is better” applies in this case when it comes to pregnant bellies. There is just simply nothing exciting about a little second trimester bulge. Your last comment about guys not being able to get hard because the pregnant woman’s belly is not “big enough” is absurd. Erectile disfunction is the only thing that will prevent you from getting hard. Preference of belly size will have no affect on erection functionality.

You just sorta proved his point. He’s saying that the consumption of pregnant porn has the end result of the “bigger is better” mentality. The adverse effect is that porn specifically made for pregnancy fans will get progressively larger as admittedly large sizes become “boring” to them. I know personally I love a baby bump as long as it’s visible, but evidently I’m in the minority here.

I respectfully disagree. I have not been brainwashed into favouring large bellies over small. It is a personal preference. "Bigger is better" applies to all things that are considered fun or good. For example, there are two pieces of pie, a small piece and a big piece. If only one can be chosen most people will select the big piece because it offers more in portion size. You buy the house with a larger pool and not the house with a small pool. People favor big yard space over small yard space. Bigger is simply better.

I think the vast majority of people who consume pregnant porn probably do, over time, develop a preference for bigger and bigger bellies -- just as Westerners have gotten obsessed with bigger and bigger breasts, and bigger and bigger asses now. We get desensitized to things and require greater stimulation to achieve the same level of interest. Same as with drugs. This is how our brains work, and it's been studied for years. Some people manage it differently, and that's cool, but the vast majority are going to need "more" over time.

this.

an analogy: i used to be somewhat active over on Stufferdb and BBWchan up until a few years ago. there's been a marked uptick in "size queens" over there who just want bigger and bigger women, regardless of... well, i dunno. quality? endangering lives just to get off? everyone's taste is subjective. that said, sectors of the FF community's obsession with bigger and bigger, and things like  "deathfats", belies the trend for quantity over quality.

i got tired of the MOREBIGGERNOW attitides there, and i feel like that MOREMOREMOREBIGGERISBETTER mentality has infected this place to a certain extent, esp with newer users.

I think it's more complicated than that. A niche audience is ALWAYS going to have higher expectations than a mainstream audience. "Bigger is better" in the pregnancy fetish community doesn't necessarily mean "in ten years I will only be turned on by triplet bellies". More generally, it means "if you are gonna claim to cater specifically to my tastes in the year 2020, you can't half-ass it". It was different in the pre- and early-internet days when Playboy.com was a thing but people with niche kinks were starved for content. Now there are web sites and subreddits dedicated to almost every kink (and sub-kink) imaginable.

If I may weave an overly laborious analogy... fetish content is a lot like the features in a car. In the 1990s I might have to check with the car salesman to make sure that a car I wanted to buy came with a CD player, A/C, power locks/windows, and cruise control. Anything more - CD changer, anti-lock brakes, air bags, sunroof, leather seats - was a prohibitively costly upgrade. Similarly, in the 1990s pretty much any pregnant belly was the "standard" equipment on the car (sufficient to get from point A to point B) and a reasonably large belly was the leather seats and sunroof (made the trip a whole lot nicer).

Nowadays I expect a car to come standard with all those features I listed before and also leather seats and a navigation system, not just because my tastes have changed but also because these upgrades are cheaper and a lot more accessible. Similarly, these days a reasonably large belly is the "standard" leather seats and navigation system, and now I can easily start consuming high-quality content that caters to my specific kinks in the same way that I can upgrade a car to get automatic parking or a 360-degree camera.

Now, that doesn't mean that a hot girl making a hot video with a 2nd-trimester belly won't still get me from point A to point B in the same way that a rental car with cloth seats will. It just means that it won't be quite as enjoyable. And it absolutely means that you can't try to sell me a car in the year 2020 if it doesn't have anti-lock brakes, nor can you show me a couple minutes of average 2nd-trimester belly and call it preggo porn.

And I really doubt all of us "bigger is better" people will only be attracted to twin/triplet bellies in 5-10 years just like I don't think we'll all be buying $50k Teslas in 5-10 years.

This is not our expectations becoming unrealistic; this is progress.

humanity has proven over and over that "progess" isn't necessarily a good thing.
