I have over 21k Tumblr followers and still gaining everyday, but all I was good at was sharing all kinds of content that was on there already.

I got about 20 notifications the other day that I had "posted" NSFW stuff even though everything I had shared was fully clothed pregnant women showing off their bumps in selfies.

Odds are good everything I end up posting on there is gonna get dinged for one reason or another and eventually it won't be worth logging on.

Deviant Art is cracking down on NSFW content too and in fact has really limited the way I do my story writing as I don't want my stories getting deleted.

It is what it is.

Yeah, DA is trying to clean up the site 10 years too late.

There's always an ulterior motive with moves like this and from what I've heard, it's in reaction to a variety of things but the main one is they're trying to do something about the site's reputation as an image-hosting site. The Porn Purge is directed at the majority who don't mark nudes and shit as NSFW. In general, most of the known and high-profile content creators left for Etsy, Patreon and other platforms over the years. They got fed up with DA's inability and refusal to protect their work from being stolen so...yeah.

I'm looking into Patreon to finally start making some money off my stories.
