I’m just tired of studios taking all of the sex appeal out women characters. Boy haircuts, not attractive faces and body design. From what I’ve seen the women in this game come off as no make up wearing lesbians. I don’t buy games featuring women for political messages. I buy them because I want something nice to look at while I play. It’s always nice when hot female video game characters can help you get your rocks off.

What did you expect for a game that takes place during a post-apocalypses world? The characters in the game are trying to survive, not worry about how good they look to the opposite sex. There's a reason why most of them have the body of a linebacker. A 100lb stick with tits fighting off a ravenous cult wouldn't fit in this setting.

Also what other studios are you talking about that takes the sex appeal out of the women characters? I'll take current day Lara over her big triangle boob blocky design from 20 years ago. And Jill Valentine's has been getting hotter and hotter after each game.

I wasn’t aware that all games need to sexualize all male and female characters? Like @"evokombat" said, these characters are just scraping by to survive. They don’t have the luxury of going out and getting cosmetic surgery to become big-titty anime girls lol. Not all games carry political messaging. If you can’t look past any hints or notions that remind you of any political agenda, then you are being a hypocrite yourself. Games are for escapism. They’re fantasy. They can be realistic, but I doubt the mainstream enjoys a combat simulator as much as others do lol.

Don’t just strawman a game and say it sucks because it “doesn’t accurately portray people.” Guess what, any game designer can make characters as they see fit just like anyone can do as much as they want with themselves. Honestly, who cares if they look “boyish”. I don’t think you’d solely play games to jerk-off, or do you?

The first game was such a depressing experience to trudge through I played it once and never again, even when the remaster was free. The more I learned about this one, the more I was all set with ever picking it up.

If any of these films had "flopped hard at the box office", then they wouldn't have made the money back for production costs with ticket sales. There's a difference between critics not liking a movie and the movie not doing well ticket sales wise. The same can be said with video games. The Last of Us 2 despite many people not liking it Is already on the track of outselling both Spider-Man and Uncharted 4.

It has nothing to do with SJWs, Politics, WOKE or whatever B.S excuse you wanna think up.

I’m sure I wasn’t the only one who enjoyed Birds of Prey, and I just like DC more than Marvel even though the DC movies cannot catch on for obvious reasons and criticisms. @LTKNT101 just let people like what they like without accusing them of being SJWs or are trying to push a “woke” agenda. If you don’t want people coming after your views, don’t do the same to them when you disagree with their views.

Generalizing doesn’t help your case here. If you don’t like something, don’t participate in it. Nobody’s getting angry with you over not buying the game. We just don’t get your reasoning as to why you are generalizing all media right now. There’s plenty out there that can satisfy anyone.

A movie has to make twice its budget to just break even.  Both Charlie's Angels and T: Dark Fate ARE flops.  Birds of Prey just barely broke even.  While, I don't agree with everything LTK says, he's right on this point.  There has been a concerted effort to inject progressive politics in the television, movies, games, comics and other media.  Not the men and women can be equal and we all have flaws to overcome kind.  More like the radical feminist, men are evil oppressors and need to broken down kind of progressiveism.  Story telling and developing interesting characters take a back seat to the political message.  Dark Fate is a perfect example of this.  SPOILER ALERT, John Connor is killed in the beginning of the movie.  Not just killed but, killed in a casual way like he was some unimportant character.  This man was THE important figure in the Terminator movies.  To kill him in such a fashion and make a woman the savior of humanity, makes the movie's message pretty clear.

Media, traditionally has been somewhat progressive over the years.  Star Trek TOS is one example.  Their brand of politics was always about how humanity can be better and to overcome our differences through understanding and dialog.  That prejudice is a HUMAN flaw now just black vs white.  That men AND women make important contributions to society that BOTH should be celebrated.  It wasn't about tearing one sex down to uplift another.
