I mean, ultimately, we all like what we like and we don't like what we don't like, and there's really no shame in that (unless you're into something illegal or really fucked up). So although my response to McKormick was more than a little snarky, I can respect that a girl - for whatever reason - doesn't ring someone's bell. That's entirely different, IMO, from calling her "overrated". For instance, I really don't care for the Beatles' music but I don't think they're overrated.
But this gets to the heart of the matter:
I read an article a few years ago about girls who make anal prolapse (or "rosebudding") porn. If you don't know what that is, trust me, don't google it, it's at least as awful as it sounds. The gist of it was that people are becoming more and more desensitized to porn, so porn actors have to keep pushing boundaries. Softcore was good enough until it wasn't, then hardcore was good enough until it wasn't, then anal was good enough until it wasn't, and so on and so on, until a certain subset of girls feel like they have to risk serious injury on camera in order to make a name for themselves.
But I also don't necessarily think that people's tastes have dulled. I also think that the proliferation of porn in general, along with the ability to commission custom material from models both popular and obscure, has given us the luxury to "specialize" in certain kinks within the fetishes we have. That speaks to what McKormick and others are talking about, where Mina may not have catered to some of their specific desires. If that's the case, I think that you still have to be able to see the forest for the trees. I have a BIG kink for pregnant belly buttons, and it still boggles my mind that there are girls out there who actually cater to that now, and that if I want something specific I can pay a model a reasonable sum to get exactly what I want. But that doesn't mean that I will think less of a girl because she doesn't pinch or poke her belly button. I also much prefer softcore over hardcore, but that doesn't mean I will completely tune out hardcore stuff if it checks enough other boxes. But maybe it's because I, like tomo (and many others here, I'm sure), went through the early years of clawing and scraping for whatever I could find, even if it wasn't exactly my cup of tea.
Just my two cents.

(April 25, 2019, 1:11 am)tomostrife I feel maybe the surplus of content from the widening spread of the fetish over all channels of social media has dulled peoples tastes a bit, maybe its because I can remember a time when a grainy video of a half covered belly for fourteen seconds was the best I got
