Hey, do the ads for Streamate actually work? I just made a free account but it doesnt seem like any of them respond. Like their just pre recorded and you need to pay out of pocket to see any of them.

They're definitely real. It's possible that Streamate allows performers to distinguish between members with (and without) credits. I'm speculating, but that might be a factor.

I'm assuming you're entering rooms with live feeds. Some of the ads here are quite old (older/dormant models are kept in circulation).
