Been trying to find a good AVN(adult visual novel) with the story focused mostly on the pregnancy aspect.
I've read a few such as Mist, Once in a Lifetime, Eternum, and the Builder. They have great stories, don't get me wrong, but I'm still trying to find one that doesn't
just have pregnancy as the ending or a side-story.
I played Japanese VNs for several years before going down the AVN rabbit hole. A lot of the stories really get you invested into a character and keeps you reading for hours.
Maman Kyoushitsu (https://vndb.org/v2748) was a pretty good example of a story focused on the girl's pregnancy. The story basically involves a brother that has a pregnant sister(with another man),
who returns to her hometown during her last month to give birth. The main character ends up taking up a job teaching a maternity class that prepares women for birth. I won't give any spoilers, but you
can use your imagination on what will happen during the story. The story went into a few details that were factual and really add to that immersion as you read the novel.
If anyone has a recommendation, I'd really appreciate it.
Also, since I couldn't find a novel that fits the description. I thought I would try my luck at making my own.
I have zero experience with 3D animation and character modeling. But I do have experience in CAD modeling from working as an industrial engineer. I tried my luck at learning to use DAZ 3D
and code with Renpy, both of which were really easy to use.
I'm still learning about lighting, textures, perspectives, and Python coding. But it's been getting me closer to trying to make the visual novel I've pictured in my head.
The main issue right now is that I'm lacking direction and have very minimal experience in story telling. I thought I would try and see if anyone would be interested in
trying to make a visual novel. This forum would be my best bet at trying to find some great minds to help make a top-notch pregancy-themed visual novel.
I've made a few very short ones for fun to test the imagination. But trying to make a full length one with several hours of story-content has been a bit of a challenge.
I'll also attach a few of the renders I've done from a few novels I tried making. This is all new to me and I've only been doing it for fun. But I think it'd be nice to be able
to publish a game to fit the void in the current market.
