I start with my stories. back in the old days of lovepregnant.com I got tricked twice by fake pregnant women.

first story was about a boy and his step mother.

second story was about an asian surrogate mother.

I get tricked more often by REAL pregnant women! So quick to ghost!! Dodgy

Used to trade pic for pic with this "girl" when I was a horny teenager. When the idea of using webcams came about she made every excuse not to. Lesson learned: never trust people on the internet. They could be anyone!

After breaking up with an ex (who was pregnant when we met through friends) I started getting preggo girls on facebook sending me friend requests. These accounts were obvious fakes as they were new with no friends! Didn't get fooled that time.

I remember that "step mother" guy...every single chat message of his was cyclical and he so often repeated himself. Already then I understood that the "boy" was a fraud, even so when he didn't even react to my direct questions. And I remember I helped to expose him, cos in one of the forums he said that his "step mother" is "close to giving birth" and I asked "didn't you say that publicly like 3 months ago?....He disappeared thereafter. Big Grin

I have a gut feeling about which of these are real women or not - the way they talk, evidence that they're real (I have my own methods), how explicit they are publicly etc.

some are smart and will not get exposed so watch out. you have to believe all of them are fake. because better safe than sorry.

(July 12, 2017, 9:45 pm)autumn_sprial I am all for asking for proof or a live photo etc, but coming off as entitled to someone's photo is...kinda shitty...

The appeal of this forum in the first place is the anonymity, so I would hope we can all see how it would be awkward and WTF to be harassed for "proof" photos as a woman. No one's asking any of the rest of us for proof that we're men. Duh.

However, when one claims to be a pregnant female, I can actually understand the intent behind people asking for proof of that. I think it's because a lot of us -- myself included -- take some offense to the notion of unwittingly playing into someone else's fantasy. As much as someone acting entitled to someone else's photo is shitty as you say, being toyed with is similarly shitty.

...and yes, I see the irony in the whole "unwittingly playing into someone else's fantasy" statement.

Understanding the intent was never in question. The real issue is, is it appropriate to challenge the identity (without proof to the contrary) of every female poster every time one pops up? If you are about to exchange money or personal information then you'd be stupid not to ask for proof. In all other cases, though, doing so is very adversarial.

I talked to this woman on Facebook; she said she was pregnant but showed me pictures of obviously different women claiming they were of her. I called her on it and she blocked me. (I use the word "she" loosely; "she" could've been a "he" for all I know.)

I remember when Mom_squirtxx was pretending to be pregnant and was scamming me and a good number of people. She always claimed that she was pregnant and was due "very soon". Once people found out that she was just fat and called her out on it, she disappeared for a few months, made a "new" account, and is now claiming to be pregnant with twins.
