If the show is already poorly recieved, then it's not going to last for years. Let alone more than a season on a streaming service that just finished purging a bunch of movies and shows. The show was doomed before the first episode even aired, so it wouldn't make sense to drag out any plot devices or story arcs.

That doesn't confirm anything. There's a difference between thinking about a second season and getting greenlit.

For the record, hate-watching is still watching. If you don't like the show, don't watch it. (If a second season gets greenlit, it'll probably be because of hate-watchers.)

I knew the show was going to be bad from the first trailer, so I haven't watched it. I've only watched the pregnancy clips from different places online.

I was hoping there was gonna be a running joke with the baby doing weird stuff in her belly, like she's pregnant with the anti-christ.

Definitely a missed opportunity to do something cool with a pregnant character.

I accidentally liked the character, she’s the only other character in the show that’s nice to velma.

If a pregnant character is enough to convince you to even watch a part of an episode, then you're not hate-watching. That's just an excuse that people use so they won't stick out for liking a show that the internet doesn't.

Just because I watched part of an episode doesn't mean I like the whole show. As I said, aside from the pregnancy clips, I haven't watched the show, nor do I intend to.

I never said that you specifically liked the whole show, so don't hurt yourself for reaching that far. Anyways, the whole hate-watch excuse is B.S when there's a parts that people do actually like. As if it's already not enough that people here have felt the need to defend acknowledging the show at all, let alone dare to watch an episode.
