so my free 35gb bonus expired today. I uploaded 16gb but I'm only allowed to have 15GB. Nothing happens yet. but some on reddit say they will delete my videos like microsoft Onedrive did once. can someone tell what will happen?

I just logged into one of my accounts, which was created in october 2017 (before this expiry bullshit started). The drive is full and it just says to upgrade if i want more than 50gb. I also logged into a different account and it says "your account has exceeded it allowed storage quota" i have 44GB out of 15GB in this and all files are still there and the account was created in january 2018.

I created a MEGA account back on March 13 of this year and still have the full 50GB available. Does anyone know exactly when they started doing the expiration crap?

i remember mentioning this in another thread (which has more accurate timescale) but i think it was sometime around start of this year.

edit: just checked, it was around end of 2017 start of 2018

only your first account will have 50GB forever. your second third and so on will have 15gb after one month.

I used completely different email for each of the account so that means they probably map your account with an ip since thats the main way for them to know if you have multiple accounts.
