GloomBone
The Midwich Cuckoos is a show about all the women in a town getting pregnant from aliens! The last quarter or so of Episode 2 has a bunch of belly stuff, not much bare belly stuff BUT there is some movement scenes that I really really like

Here's the two scenes which have pretty prominent kicking!: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1I6Ml34G...sp=sharing

The other three or four prominent pregnant characters also looked hot and attractive as well. They don't show bare bellies like the woman pictured there, but I still think they pull off their pregnant looks well along with being attractive actresses to begin with.

Good topic.

I'm a horror buff, and I've noticed horror movies operate on similar schemes as certain extreme forms of music like death metal, in that they deconstruct normal human functions like pregnancy and twists it until it seems unnatural, grotesque and/or evil.

I think Inside is miles above competition in regards to preggo-horror. I was however unable to enjoy the pregnancy itself since I spent the whole film feeling bad for the protagonist. It's basically "bad shit happening to the female lead" - the movie.

Hell Baby is fucking hilarious. Nice to see a film having fun with the "spawn of Satan" theme. Tossing babies around have never been funnier!

There's another pregnancy-related horror trope I find interesting. In some of the nastier films, the heroine either fail to take down the villains or fail to escape so her ultimate fate is to become a breeding slave. Australian outback-horror Dying Breed ends like this and in the beginning of The Hills Have Eyes 2 (the modern remake) we see the devastating result of such. One of my favorite hillbilly-horror franchises, the Wrong Turn series, also deals with this from time to time. In Wrong Turn 5 it's heavily implied to be the fate of the final girl, and early drafts of Wrong Turn 6 was supposed to have this as a central theme - the idea of inbreed hillbillies unable to create new children, so they have to enslave fresh young women to do it for them. I believe the IMDB-trivia section share some of the plans for Wrong Turn 6 - in this day and age I cannot image they would've ever gotten away with something that gritty!

Inside (2007, French original) is a masterpiece of pregnancy horror. It is far superior to the 2018 American version which removed a lot of the gore that made the original awesome. "Bad shit happening to the female lead" is a staple of horror films. There are far too many examples to list here however these are a few of the most iconic horror film female protagonists that did not have pleasant outings in their lead roles:

Marion Crane in Alfred Hitchcock's 1960 horror/thriller Psycho.
Barbra in George Romero's 1968 zombie classic Night of The Living Dead.
Laurie Strode and Jamie Lloyd in John Carpenter's Halloween franchise.
Jennifer Hills in the 1978 original I Spit On Your Grave and the 2010 remake.

I enjoyed the original Inside. It's in my top 10 list of the best pregnancy-related horror films of all time. I applaud the Frech filmmaker for having the balls to crank up the violence/gore despite the protagonist being a pregnant mother.

Blood Shed (2013)

About a homicidal woman looking for her stolen baby in a storage facility. Crappy movie like most B-horror, but there are some decent shots.

You have the specific timestamp for this shot? I don’t really wanna waste my time watching a crappy movie waiting for one particular shot.

Update: just watched it. Definitely not worth it despite some pretty good shots. They heavily underused both of the pregnant characters, the one in this picture especially. Definitely would have liked to see a version of the movie with her as more of the pregnancy focus than the character we got. She was both much hotter and much bigger than the one the movie decided to spend more of its attention upon.

Yeah, I'll be honest, 95% of these movies are terrible and not worth watching in their entirety. I couldn't find the full movie, so I couldn't give timestamps.

Here's a link to the bathtub scene at least:
