I have some questions, though seeing lots of vids yet haven't come to an answer:
1,How to make the baby bigger ,heavier and larger? It seems that most huge babies were given birth by overweight mothers, but is there other way? 2,What's the most difficult way to give birth? 3,For how long can the head stays crowning?I've delivered my aunt's baby before, and the baby's head stuck for like 2-3hours.So my question is that if the baby's health is not concerned, how long at most can the head stays stuck? A lot of the commentary from women online has this exasperated, "obviously these guys are killing women" kind of attitude. I get it, but these women may as well be teenagers. (See the beginning of this clip, for instance. She thinks she's cool with that eye roll routine, but I think she looks like a fifteen year-old.) There is a mature, adult way to go about changing people's perspectives, and then there is the arrogant, I-obviously-know-better-than-you, you-only-disagree-because-you-have-ill-intentions attitude we see in this online community. I definitely, definitely think these anti-hospital-birth women have important arguments to contribute (and I think it will be interesting to see what their long term influence on medicine is), *but* it's pretty clear that they have a very radical perspective. It's one thing for me to say, "Doctors should behave differently for X, Y, and Z reasons" and another thing to say, "All doctors are rapacious pigs." We also have to acknowledge these people are basically conspiracy theorists or "conspiracy theory adjacent." Advocates of alternative COVID theories (e.g., the Ivermectin crowd) have been treated like conspiracy theorists (unfairly in many cases) --- this alternative midwifery online community is basically equivalent. And the movement has not been without its negative consequences. (August 15, 2022, 11:23 am)BasedGd1768 And the movement has not been without its negative consequences....wow. im generally in favor of the movement in spirit... but the idea has to be tempered with the reality that things can go wrong with the reproductive system just like any other organ. healthy pregnancy up to 40-42 weeks is how humans work and shouldnt be treated like a disease, but beyond 42 weeks is a treatable medical problem just like any other and i wish that was understood within these circles. otherwise should heart failure be left alone because "the heart knows what to do" to correct itself? yikes

(August 14, 2022, 1:19 pm)yang I have some questions, though seeing lots of vids yet haven't come to an answer:In fact, I am also curious about these issues. As a delivery lover, the topic of delivery makes me more excited. If you have these related videos, can you share them. You said that you once had delivered your aunt's child. It sound s strange

(August 14, 2022, 1:19 pm)yang I have some questions, though seeing lots of vids yet haven't come to an answer: 1) Larger, not fatter women tend to make larger babies. Good diet and avoiding anemia also leads to bigger babies. Diabetes, due to high sugar levels, can also increase weight. 2) Flat on your back with your legs down. Almost every other position gives a wider pelvis or has the help of gravity 3) Hours, but you probably don't want that. Baby health is always a concern. Getting stuck has potential of causing fetal stress. Fetuses have no way to correct stress factors this, so this is bad. | |||||||||||||||||||
