Imgur Updating TOS to Ban Porn

Come May 15th, imgur's updated TOS will ban "nudity" and "sexually explicit content". I guess this is just a heads-up to archive everything from a particular forum which relies on their service and hosts content quite similar to ours, as it may not be up for much longer.

Sigh. The internet is getting stupider by the day. More softcore stuff is going to get forced into darker places - we're seeing a bifurcation of content purely for CYA.

2 things: 1st-> where is ur icon from? Wouldn't mind seeing that video
2. This reminds me of the tiktok ban that seems to be #1 on sites like Yahoo & other news sites (its #1 of the top 10 topics, I look at some online news before I go to bed.)

In all honesty: would the economy be damaged if tiktok was banned in the US? people spend too much time on their phones & devices anyways, it's why most people can't read anything longer than a Tweet. I've never seen porn on Imgur. Tumblr used to be the place to go..

Btw: kids are ruining YT now. Why does everything have to be about the kids? What about the teens & adults, where do we watch vids or post images? Blame kids for this & the way social media is.

Imgur is "doing itself in" just like Tumblr did years ago. Anti-porn sites always die, and they always deserve to die.
