most of the files literally went from being say 500MB to zero bytes. is there way to solve this issue
edit: these were live recordings

where were it stashed on a broken hard drive, cloud?

basically i had to stop all recording in order to do something so when you stop it converts the file to mp4 format (its just how it work) but at this stage it just crashed. then i was trying to shutdown the computer and it just wouldnt go past the spinning circle sign so had to force shutdown.

And that caused all of your files (not just the one being recorded) to change to 0 bytes?
Sounds like a failing hard drive.
