Going through my collection, video edition

If you've been keeping tabs on my other thread where I go through my collection of pics, you know that I've got a fair amount of stuff dating back almost 20 years. Now that I've dumped over half of my pics, it's time to also start going through my videos.

This will work the same way as my batches of pics: I'll leave them up for about a week, then delete everything and upload the next batch. There's also a zip of everything in case you don't want to download individual files.

The process of reviewing the video content I have has really revealed the evolution of technology: video has come a long way in 15+ years! Unfortunately, this means that a lot of the early videos in my collection are... not great. But some of it is good, even if it's small and grainy.

There's a lot of various sources here: YouTube, Dailymotion, the old Expansion Mansion forums, iFriends, and other platforms I can't remember. Also, be sure to get a media player like VLC or Media Player Classic, because there's a lot of antiquated video formats here: ASF, DivX, XviD, WMV, QuickTime, RealPlayer(!), and maybe others. Thank jeebus the video industry has consolidated quite a bit since then.

Note that there's a zip file in the directory that has everything in it, so don't just select all and download or you'll end up getting everything twice!

First off, before I say anything else, you are awesome. You have been for years, always contributing good stuff to the community.

If you don't mind a tentative suggestion: If you do zip up batch files for future uploads, is there any way possible you'd consider keeping each batch file under 5 GB? Mega does weird stuff around that mark because free bandwidth stops somewhere around there, and it doesn't always resume properly even if you wait the required amount of time for more.

It would be hugely awesome if you could consider that, but if you can't or it's too much trouble, I'm certainly in no position to complain. Thanks for this awesome stuff.
