Hey would it be possible for you to convert the videos to MP4 files before you upload them to mega?

Seconding this advice. These vids are so old that the players for them may not be supported anymore (flash!) so VLC is your best bet.

You could also use an MP4 conversion site. I use Cloud Convert, which is pretty reliable.

Thirding.  Even if you can't open it in VLC by double-clicking or right-clicking, you can still click-and-drag a file onto an open VLC window, and by some miracle, it will play.
Just a note though:  The old .asf files will look like pixel-vomit unless you use Windows Media Player.  Never knew what was up with that codec.

It's almost like I suggested getting VLC in my original post for this very reason.

Y'all, most of this stuff is content I no longer want. I'm deleting as I upload. I'm not going to the trouble to fucking convert it first. I'm spending hours per batch sorting through all this shit, and I'm making it easy to download. Be thankful for what you're getting.

Do this. It's literally so easy and completely free. I use VLC for ALL video playback, I didn't even notice that some of these were out of date file types. It's seriously one of the greatest pieces of software out there.
