Maybe some of you know what I mean when I say this, but what's the "fuck up factor" here? That is, when you share good material what percentage of time does it end up getting completely spoiled through foolish actions of another person? The fact that we have to deal with this sucks because much of our "hobby" materials tend to be on the scarce side, yes? How do you deal with fuck ups? Scarlet letter? Banishment? Or it's all cool because everyone makes a mistake.

I think it depends on the seriousness of the offense and the person's history. We all do make mistakes, and if someone makes a small error every once in a great while that really can't be helped. Now if someone does something really bad or does it very frequently, then things change.
