Recently I was skimming on Facebook and I found out that a lady who had taught at my high school my senior year is pregnant, due very soon. The thing is, I never had her as a teacher, nor did I ever interact with her, but since I've graduated, I'd like to follow her on Facebook and Instagram, etc. How should I go about this if I write a message? I definitely don't want to come off as creepy.

My dad's a teacher and gets friend request from students he never taught all the time. Teachers are used to it, just add her

This. Look but don't say/do anything is the best way to go, especially if she has no idea of who you are.

Just use your actual account man. She is more likely to accept a student then some random account (from her eyes). Just send her a request and don't say anything.
