In 2022, I was briefly in a local FetLife-organized kink meet-up group once or twice, but thrice...someone told me after the meet-up was over at the Gay Bar parking lot that she didn't like my comment on my dealing with kink-shaming she felt was "triggering" (my fetish for pregnant women has been politicized by the right and Left in a year we try so hard to avoid talking politics or morality), but I LOVED the kink/fetish/sexual deviancy conversations with other people you just can't have anywhere else. In contrast, I enjoyed LGBT pride events where to meet genderfluid persons like myself with no problems whatsoever, a sex-positive environment and no needs to bring up ethical or political concerns on my turn-ons and fetishes (someone shouted "Zelenskyy in drag? HE'S ONE OF US") - a reference to his pre-presidential career vid on him in drag in that parody music vid. Fetlife is disappointing (I've left in 2019 after 3 years on the site and came back last year to realize I'm leaving it next year), you rarely will meet up RL with anyone and I don't mind video chats or servers along with OnlyFans links, the problem is FetLife was meant to bring people of all kinks and fetishes together easier than ever in history. My GF who's 60 is a Republican, Demi-Bisexual-romantic and a spiritual Christian who understood maiseiophilia is a harmless kink and her Libertarian stance is what makes me enjoy being around her...and we're on the Autism spectrum, we've dealt with learning social cues and manners as much as possible.

I don't think this is unique to FetLife, though.  In my opinion, this is one of the biggest issues with dating apps in general: it's way too hard to get women interested.  There's a saying, "It takes two to tango."  Well, it's telling that tango has a history of being male-to-male...  

My theory is bisexual men will be a lot more common in a few years.  That or most sex will be with bots in the metaverse.

Signed up years ago, didn't really use it much. 

February/March of this year I decided to give it a try again. Connected with someone who was 6 months along. Eventually we both felt comfortable enough to meet in-person. Hell, we even worked out a photoshoot (work as a photog, maternity shoots happen occasionally) and I gotta say, that was one hot session. 7 outfit changes. Outfits kept getting more and more revealing and exposing her bump more and more. Asked for me to feel her belly a lot for movements. She very much was into me being into her and into having her picture taken. We've kept in touch off and on since March. Honestly, didn't go into Fetlife looking to make a friend, but that clearly happened. That said, I highly doubt anything like this will happen again on that site as the site overall is kind of a trainwreck in terms of interactions and connections.

Most are promoting their OnlyFans and responses in general are lacking. In comparison I have had plenty of luck on Seeking Arrangements where even some weren’t transactional once we got to know each other but kept all the benefits.

I must agree. Seeking Arrangement was also more miss than hit, but at least I got SOMETHING from that site. FetLife was a huge waste of time.

The idea is that if you're serious about being a sugar daddy/mommy, you've got that cash. Potential sugar babies can see you're a paying member and that you're worth their time. Unfortunately, they're usually not worth ours. Lots of jokers there. Mixed results.
