Maternity jeans with a full belly panel over the big belly, and a top that's a little loose but thin enough to show the line of the belly panel underneath.
Expectful
You know, I can’t say I have a particular type of attire that consistently ranks above all others, but there is a type of maternity top that used to be ubiquitous but that you don’t see nearly so often anymore.

I’m talking about what I believe was known variously as an empire waist blouse. The specifics of it could change a lot, long sleeve, short sleeve, poofy shoulders, regular shoulders or any variety of tank-type top with straps or even strapless. The belly would have a series of overlapping panels which would slide apart as the weaker got bigger. It would be be snug over the top and on down to about the belly button, then hang down loosely from there. In the Bach there would be two draw strings that the wearer would tie together in a bow, the tie getting progressively looser as her belly expanded.

I have no idea why this did and still does it for me, but for whatever reason, these thing really float my boat.

I also like shirts that make reference to the wearer’s condition. For example, a maternity T-shirt with the word “Baby” at about boob level with a downward pointing arrow right underneath the text.

Then there’s the bathrobe which isn’t quite big enough anymore, coming apart at her midriff to reveal her belly poking through.

Last but not least, nude is good. Nude is very good.
