I really don't see why it matters at all. Don't be a dick to people calling them fake and just go "oh well, I was wrong" when they prove to be real. Freaking apalogize dude.

I feel bad for people who fall for the blatantly obvious fake profiles but it is what it is. Plenty of naive people out there.

I had someone reach out to me through my old Bellius Maximus Site and try to slowly build an internet relationship. They were extremely good at rping and having long conversations and trying to earn my trust but I always had a slow nagging thought that it was too good to be true.

After 3 months of conversation and talking like boyfriend and girlfriend I finally asked them for their "real name" since they claimed they went to Appalachian State and the name they gave me didn't show up in the student directory. I kept that in the back of my mind and waited for the inevitable money request which came a month later.

"I want to meet you but I don't have the money to travel."

I quickly said no and they were like "Don't you love me?" and I had to point out I didn't find them in the student directory under that name. Some half hearted lame excuses later and they stopped emailing me.

Lot of people out there trying to scam. Glad to see people on here as admins are at least trying to keep an eye out.

That is a completely different scenario than assuming everyone is a fake unless they provide photographic proof that they're not.

Dude, quasa, what's with all the angry, accusatory posts lately? Just relax and enjoy what the site has to offer. No need to pick fights.

It's one of the possibilities these fake profiles can lead to. That's why I wanted to tell my story. Some people on here get their rocks off to "underage" preggos and tag women as 14 year olds who are clearly in their 20's.so it's pretty clear some people just take everything for face value.
