(December 11, 2019, 2:46 pm)doubleintegral The problem is that none of the current storefronts have the demonstrated credibility or longevity to trust them with something like that.  For instance, if ManyVids starts putting their own DRM on videos, and then they're gone in 2-3 years, all of my purchases are worth fuck all. 

An easy solution would be a screen capturing software such as OBS and make backups of your videos. That way if the site does go down, at least you'll still have a copy of the video.

Hey guys, pregnant model perspective here.

This whole question of why models aren’t making much content may be simpler than you think.

Why? They are pregnant. Haha.
When you’re pregnant you have a whole host of sudden health issues or fatigue or backache or whatever plagueing you. It’s worse in the 8th and 9th month. Getting anything done can feel impossible.

I have a pregnancy fetish myself so even though I felt like absolute garbage most days, I managed to pull it together and make 80 vids over two pregnancies because I really wanted to show off my belly.

But most models don’t have a pregnancy fetish so they have to be really hurting financially I think to get up the energy to make vids. Otherwise you might just think, well, I feel terrible but I don’t have financial need so I’ll just take this time off of making vids or camming and rest up for the health of the baby and me.

I guess what people are wondering right now is why it seems like there's less than there was maybe a few years ago. Sure, models may not feel compelled to model while pregnant, but has something else changed that might cause this trend?

My guess would be as a whole, the business of being a nude woman on the internet is booming. There are so many different ways nowadays to profit off it. So if a model doesn’t need money because she has been doing well for herself prior to getting pregnant, then when she’s pregnant and feeling very ill and fatigued, she might take that time off and just rest.

Whereas if she really needed the money she would force herself to get out of bed and make some vids. 


I really want to have a pregnancy where I feel really healthy and I’m really organized with lighting and co stars and a kid-free place to shoot ... those are the things that stand in the way of making content.

The point is that performers like you who created specific themed custom video clips are declining significantly in the past decade or so. It doesnt have to do with the pregnancy part of it like what you are talking about. More the trend that models would rather cam than create seperate clips. I feel that the demand has weakened due to over sharing leading to less motivation to create content rather than sit still in front of a laptop.

Fuckin A, thats something I didnt even think about. Camming is such a more actively involved work considering your appealing to a constantly varied audience. I mean we're pretty easy creatures to please. Make a 5 minute clip of some sexy small clothes and flash some belly and I'm good. The cam game is hours and hours of sitting there waiting for privates and tips.

Even more of a basis why custom content is disappearing. Its certainly doesnt seem more difficult.

Even with all these other considerations, I do suspect the sharing plays a pretty big part. Seriously, how could it not? This is a small community, and models are bound to find their work being shared eventually. Word gets around. Suddenly, it's like -- why even do this?
