I've searched a bunch and for whatever reason cannot find an answer on this. 

Does anyone know if you subscribe to a star's membership (the button that says "get all ## vids" -- are you able to download everything? I've always just assumed that button was scammy but realized that it would be cheaper for me to subscribe for a certain star than purchase a few individual videos.

From what I have seen some are stream only and some you can download from. I have a hunch though that with the right download manager you may be able to download the stream only videos. When viewing the previews, I can download the previews with my manager, so I believe it would be the same if I were to have a stream only membership. I plan on giving this a shot soon and would like to know if anyone else has done this and can confirm what I am thinking.

It's a command prompt, so it's a pain, but it enables you to download most content embedded in a player (PornHub, etc). It might work on ManyVids.

Yeah, I know streaming versions can be ripped one way or another, I’m really just wondering if you get the official / original quality download options with a membership. It’s not explicitly called out and I’m curious.. If the choice is between buying 2-3 videos that I really want, or spending the same on a membership but getting streaming versions of those videos and a bunch of other ones that I only kind of want, I might just buy the originals.

When you stream/ watch videos on manyvids there is a gear icon at the top right of the video to change video quality. From what I have seen there are two options: compressed or original.

Following up on my own question -- I bought a membership to a particularly prolific creator on MV and can confirm, that as long as the video doesn't have an asterisk (*) on the thumbnail, and isn't marked as "Streaming Only", you seem to get the download for it. Great deal if the price is right and you're into somebody.
