I really didn't have a plan of where to go from here. If someone wants to write the next chapter or make a suggestion, they are welcome.

If you are taking suggestions, then I would like to offer you a significant one.

Re-read what you have done so far, but don't look at it like it is chapter one. Consider it a rough draft, a synopsis, or even just the base idea for a bigger story.

Then, have another go at it. You could rewrite the entire thing or just make adjustments here and there, padding out what you have already written.
This time, add more description - not just of what can be seen but how it feels physically and emotionally. Elaborate on the entire situation and try to bring your audience into the story with you.

Make sure to answer at least SOME very important questions:
- Where did the blob go? Not essential but COULD be part of a greater plan.
- What thoughts go through her head when she discovers her situation? How does she feel? Use more than just, "shock".
- Just how big IS "nine months pregnant with triplets"? That makes a nice comparison, but there are no hard and fast measurements.
That is like saying that the imperial "foot" is based on the length of the foot of the king. Which king? How long was his foot?
If we get a new king do we have to have to change the length of the foot, or are they all miraculously exactly the same length?
Pregnancy is the same - it varies not only from person to person but pregnancy to pregnancy. You don't have to be precise, but better comparisons or even approximate numerical values may work better.
"She was sure that she gained a few pounds since breakfast," can work rather well, just for example.
- Your first version described out protagonist getting considerably more than a normal dose, so we are to presume that she is going to be very big before she finally delivers.
How big is she going to get? Picture that in your mind, but don't tell us. That is your endgame, and you need to build towards it.
- Where is all this mass coming from?
You have done the job of justifying how and why she is going to be so big, but the story would be far more convincing if we can accept that the extra weight is coming from somewhere.
Give her a hefty appetite to feed her growing brood and you already have story filler as she feeds that need.
Raid the fridge, call for fast food, consider how desperate she is to feed her offspring and how far she will go to do it.
- Will she conceal her pregnancy from others, if so how?
If not, how do people react?
Surely she has friends and family to interact with.
Oh look! More story filler.
- How will this affect her sexuality? Was she virgin before this? Does she need sex now and will she get it? Does she have a love interest? How would they feel and react to her condition?
- What happens when she delivers? Is this the end of the story? Is it the end of the line for her? Do the babies look human, blob, or hybrid?


Please, regard what I have said as friendly advice. I think that your idea is good, but it needs more effort.
A picture, they say, is worth a thousand words. You are only using words so give us a thousand and then a thousand more. Make us see it - make us FEEL it.
You know what you see in your mind when you look at this story - make us see it too.

Chapter 2:

Her eyes were side staring at the swollen belly where her once flat stomach used to be as she sat with her back on the headboard. She felt like she had swallowed a 12 pound bowling ball, but something much bigger. Rachel stroked her belly trying to understand what was happening to her and how. Her belly seemed to have stopped growing at least for the moment, but she could still feel whatever it was churning inside. She could only just reach her hands all the way around her stomach and felt her bellybutton completely flat. There were a few teachers at school that were pregnant and even a few of the students, but none quite had a belly like what she had. As a result you are now pregnant with over 40 embryos. The hybrid embryos have run out of room to grow inside your belly.

There is no way you can grow all of these embryos to term inside you. In order to survive, you must displace them. Fortunately, there are still plenty of nutrients left in your body and several of your eggs remained unfertilized. The only way to remove the embryos inside you is to displace them with your own embryos. You will need to find a human male and mate with him. You will certainly find yourself pregnant but it will be best to mate several times to ensure multiple conceptions. As the fetuses grow inside your belly, you will find yourself periodically birthing the smaller hybrid embryos. Breeders will be sent in to retrieve these embryos as they are born.**
