I went to a GameStop early today for a few things that, ultimately, didn't quite work out because of a server crash. Swell.
But there's one thing that made up for it, but unfortunately I couldn't get any pics. As I was waiting in line inside the store, a woman (she couldn't have been older than her late 30s) walked in. When I first saw her my view was blocked. I only saw her head and shoulders, and I liked what I saw. Very attractive, very pretty, with a large sun hat and a black lightweight dress.
Then she walked more into my view and, were I some cartoon character, my bottom jaw would have dropped with a cash register sound effect to make it even frickin' funnier. She was my muse for the day, the most gorgeous angel to ever sneak into such a widely controversial store. You guessed it, she was pregnant. And she looked like she should have had a nurse following her diligently. She was big. I went from getting pissed off by the gaming situation to thinking, "TOTALLY WORTH IT!" It was so sudden, too. One minute I was bummed out, and the next minute came a lovely woman with a big, round, place-both-hands-on-it-for-a-feel belly. The most gloriously beautiful sighting I have had in a long time, and certainly the best I had so far this year.
She was graceful, too. The black dress hugged her as much as her husband (assuming she has one) ought to. She even bent in a specific way to pick up something, even considering how massive her tummy was. It was nearly a perfect sphere but juuuuust angled enough to have a very subtle football curve, but it was still mostly round. Her navel was popped and clearly visible from within her dress. She wore nice sandals to finish off her wardrobe.
And, as if she heard the mental "HUBBA HUBBA" of ol' Vestrum Tobias, she kept touching her belly even when standing in idleness. Most of the time she sat her right hand on the very top of her hypnotic midsectional mountain. Other times she had both hands on it and, holy shit, I was pretty happy for those parts.
Unfortunately, I mentioned that I wasn't able to take any pictures of her. After all that hyping and jive, why don't I have any evidence? Well, I was inside a GameStop, which isn't big to begin with, and I was in line for something I was keen to get. Not to mention, there were people everywhere in that store, so I couldn't take any pics of her without getting caught and/or questioned. Simple as that.
The beauty and tragedy of a sudden, unexpected, pregnant angel is that they appear in the moment, and once the moment is gone... only your memory can comfort you.

The tl;dr version: I saw a beautiful preggo at a very unexpected time and place and she lingered for about a half hour. I wasn't able to take pics because I was in a small room full of people at every single angle.
